I absolutely love this dentist practice and have been coming here for around 12 years now. Dr Shah is so thorough and professional with a gentle and calm approach that makes getting a filling a joy. She also gives the best local anaesthetic injections! I no longer feel anxious about having my teeth seen to. The receptionist team are fantastic, friendly and welcoming and Frances the hygienist also deserves a special mention. I'm happy that my whole family is looked after by this practice.

I had a wonderful experience at Smile Shines. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, kind, and professional, which immediately put me at ease. Simply the best! Been going here for years and I couldn’t fault the level of care and kindest received every time. From my lovely, very talented, dentist Maria to the wonderful ladies on reception (and everyone in between) I’d be lost (and toothless!) without you. We have been with the practice since it opened and in the past 4 years under the care of Dr Nilam Shah who is exceptional. Our children are Neurodiverse and she is so calm, patient and explains everything so well to them about their check up and what they need to do until the next check up. My husband and I are also under her care, I have had some complex health issues in recent years and she's always been very understanding of the impact this has had on my oral health. The reception team are lovely, so helpful, friendly and welcoming. The children have been attending since their teeth came through and we are always welcomed like family and as a result our children enjoy a trip to the dentist whereas myself as a child was always nervous. The staff turnover is very low which I think speaks volumes, same friendly team each visit.

I visited this dental practice last Friday and wanted to share some feedback about my experience. Overall, the clinical care I received was good, and I appreciate the service provided. I did, however, feel a little uneasy with something I observed at reception. During my visit, the main receptionist spoke to a new receptionist or a staff member who was helping her in a way that came across as slightly abrupt, particularly as it happened in front of patients in the waiting area. I completely understand that it can be a busy and sometimes pressured environment, and I’m sure it was not intended in any negative way. It was just a little uncomfortable to witness, and I felt for the staff member, who appeared to be trying their best in the situation. I hope this can be taken as gentle and constructive feedback. Creating a calm and supportive atmosphere among staff really helps make the experience more pleasant for patients as well.
