I cannot praise this practice enough. In the past, I used to leave my previous dentist feeling like I’d been punched in the mouth, needing pain relief that would last all day. I'd also need the day to recovery from the sensory triggers which affect my mental health. This experience was completely different—I left with absolutely zero pain or swelling. I have never been treated with such genuine kindness at a dental clinic before. My dentist, Katie, was incredibly understanding of my neurodiversity and my specific needs. She took the time to tailor my ongoing treatment plan and referred me directly to Amanda, the hygienist, which made a huge difference. Amanda and the dental nurse, Millie, were absolutely amazing. They proactively made environmental adjustments to ensure I felt comfortable, like putting on the air conditioning and turning on the radio. Amanda spoke to me calmly throughout the entire procedure and never made the appointment feel rushed. She also took time to educate and demonstrate techniques to help keep my mouth clean. For the first time ever, I felt safe, heard, and completely at ease. If you are neurodivergent or have had painful dental experiences in the past, I highly recommend this wonderful team!

I highly recommend My Dentist in Ashington. The staff are all very helpful, friendly and caring. I usually see Katie Travers. She is the best dentist I have ever had. She has a lovely smile too. Katie tells me what treatment I need to have done and carries it out in a very professional way. I am grateful for all the care and support I receive from Katie and the hard working staff. Had a weekend of extreme pain and was unable to touch the tooth, turns out it was an infection, Areej extracted the tooth without the discomfort I remember from visits in days gone by, fantastic attention. I must add I have neglected visiting a dentists for far too long but after this experience I have no fear of returning to this practice for regular treatments. Thank you👍

Been in today for a hygiene appointment. I was a couple of years over due for the work so it was a little daunting, but Ashleigh and her assistant were fantastic and made me feel at ease. I'll be back, confidently knowing I'm in safe hands. Thank you.

Been in today with my teenage son. The hygienist explained the importance and the science around his dental hygiene and was brilliant at explaining how to make sure his routine was right before he gets braces. Couldn’t fault the appointment. Thank you!!!

An excellent surgery. After a botched treatment from another surgery, these guys fixed me up quickly and got me out of pain immediately. I have now moved over to them permanently and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Highly recommend!
