Customer Reviews
The Orthodontic Clinic has a rating of 4.2 out of 5 based on over 63 reviews on Google
I had a wonderful experience at the orthodontic clinic throughout my braces journey. Everyone involved in my care was kind, courteous and respectful. I was listened to and able to express any concerns I had with my teeth at each appointment. I am overjoyed with the results since having my braces removed. It has brought me so much confidence! I can’t recommend the Orthodontic Clinic enough! They really have the best people and the best care!
First off, I barely saw Dr. Currie during the course of my treatment and was often handled by dental students. Furthermore, Dr. Currie repeatedly refused to listen to me when I said ‘no’ in response to a treatment (chipping away part of the tooth to make it level with the other one after brace treatment) and ended up causing permanent sensitivity and pain to my teeth. Horrible advocacy for patients. Do not go here for your or your children’s orthodontic treatment. Furthermore, waiting times were constantly 10-20 minutes beyond the time I was told that my appointment would be at, even though I followed the instructions to come exactly 10 ot more minutes in advance of my appointment time.
The entire team at the Orthodontic Clinic are absolutely fantastic. Both of my children come here, and have been treated with such kindness throughout. They both look forward to their appointments and have been involved and consulted in decisions about their braces at every stage which has been appreciated. I am a dentist myself and I recommend all my patients to come to this practice because they share the same high standards I do. 5 stars to the entire team and thank you very much for giving my children the smile of their dreams!
I tried to book a simple consultation for braces, but the experience was unnecessarily difficult. Instead of a straightforward booking, I was repeatedly asked for card details or a deposit to "secure" a free consultation, without clear explanation at the start. I was repetitive emailed empty responses asking if I wanted a consultation even when this was the reason why I contacted the clinic in the first place. The tone felt rigid and transactional rather than welcoming. The receptionist Marta was doing everything to dissuade me from wanting to consult with the clinic and in the end when I resigned she took no accountability but answered AI generated email "wishing me good luck" - signalling the clinic is oversubscribed and began treating patients with superiority. The doctor herself is not available for a conversation and everything is mediated by a bureaucratic receptionist who seems on a "power trip" regarding weird policies before any service was even provided. Orthodontic treatment is a long journey, and the first impression of care and trust matters as much as technical skill. Sadly, I did not feel valued as a potential patient and decided to look elsewhere.
Friendly staff and quick service, my son came for braces adjustment. Parking in the area is expensive, so left my car a bit further. Also staff checked my availability before arranging next appointment.
Brilliant practice and super friendly staff. A really professional attitude, efficient, and amazing at what they do. I personally had a tricky situation with my teeth, needing to open up space while straightening, but there was never any doubt that the procedure would be a success with Dr Currie – brilliant at what she does, friendly, and an amazing orthodontist. I couldn’t rate this clinic higher.
Very good and patient with all clients and very calm and confident on treatment to offer people at at all ages I have just had braces fitted for the second time and my teeth are improving each time and getting straight each time as well now. they are better than the other option I was offered now.
