Customer Reviews
Stirling Dental Care has a rating of 4.3 out of 5 based on over 30 reviews on Google
Had a few fillings here with Jane. At the time everything was great but have since went elsewhere and found out that there is gaps in them and will have to get them redone. Now think that it was a rushed job and personally would never go back there. Thought going private would mean the care would be better but instead found it worse. Spend all the money for no reason at all.
Excellent dental care. Well looked after, had 3 fillings, expertly carried out. Was kept informed throughout of what the procedure would be, the Dentist was very skilled and I had no pain during or after. Thanks for top notch service!
Recently had an emergency appointment here with Heather Bourquin and have never been so at ease. Hadn’t been to the dentist in years and was really nervous, but she instantly made me feel at ease and more of a friend than a customer. Her assistant and the rest of the staff were also so amazing and friendly. Sorted my problem so quickly and felt no pain or discomfort at all. Couldn’t recommend a better dentist!
who can say i look forward to going to the dentist ? i can ! the best dentist ever. Jane and her team always make you fell comfortable & welcome. Jane has just the best bedside manor. been a client for many many years, im glad they are there for my family and i. God bless them all with good health and happiness. keep up with the good work !!!
Just visited as a new patient and was blown away by the total unprofessionalism of the "receptionist" I was greeted by when I arrived for my appointment. I had made the appointment on their website and was advised via the website to contact the practice if I did not receive a confirmation. Unfortunately I did not receive a confirmation but did notice that the payment of £60 had been taken from my bank account. Having tried 4 times to call the surgery and leaving a voicemail I decided to go along to the appt time given. I was advised that there was no appointment as there "system had went down " by an extremely sullen individual who also advised that I hadn’t left any voicemail message and was I sure I was in the right place ! I ended up showing my bank account to prove they had taken my money ! I was then advised that if the payment is pending "it might not come off" and if it does "Just call if the money comes out" No apology didn’t seem to give a damn! "Do you want another appointment?" Eh not a chance !! Not acceptable for a new patient! At this point you still have my money !
As a very nervous dental patient who had shocking experiences with dentists in the past I attended with a great deal of trepidation. I needn't have worried. Heather and her assistants gave me nothing but 5 star care. They dealt with my worries and proceeded to give me back my smile. Thank you.
Very disappointed with my experience at Stirling Dental Care. My original appointment was cancelled by the practice due to a dentist leaving. A replacement appointment was then automatically arranged months later without any verbal confirmation or agreement from me or my husband that the date was suitable. Although reminder emails and text messages were later sent, at no point did we explicitly accept or confirm the appointment. Despite this, we were charged for non-attendance and informed that future routine appointments could not be booked unless the disputed charge was paid. What is most frustrating is that the practice’s own missed appointment policy says nothing about patients becoming financially liable for appointments that were cancelled and rescheduled solely by the practice without patient confirmation. During the complaints process, the practice also admitted there is no separate policy covering this specific situation. There is also nothing within the policy stating that patients are required to monitor emails or text messages for appointments created automatically by the practice, or that failure to respond to automated communications amounts to acceptance of a new booking. Earlier this year, when my son’s appointment had to be rearranged by the practice, staff called me directly to obtain verbal confirmation before finalising the replacement appointment. This made the handling of our appointments feel inconsistent and unfair. I raised these concerns formally, however I do not feel the key issue was properly addressed. Reminder messages are not the same as patient consent, especially for appointments that patients never booked themselves. As parents with young children, we need proper communication and confirmation before appointments are treated as binding and financially enforceable.
