Whitworth Dental Care

I think you will struggle to find a better Dental Practice than this one. The service is brilliant and the ladies on reception are pleasant and very professional. As for my dentist and her assistants, they are all pleasant and easy to communicate with and i've been very happy with their care for me. I travel over from Littleborough and it's been well worth moving from Drake Street dental practice in Rochdale, when they suddenly decided they no longer wanted NHS patients ( i was with them for over 30 years). So if you're looking for a new Dental practice i can highly recommend this practice.

I have been using this dental practice for a number of years now and find them great. I am currently registered with Dr Mehak Sohail who I cannot recommend enough. She is kind & empathetic but also tells you it straight. She explains everything both before treatment and whilst doing the treatment. Great dental practice and great dentist 👍

I’d like to say that Vicky is truly amazing at what she does. I often tell her I wish I had found her much earlier, as my previous experience at another dental practice left me feeling quite anxious. Even coming in for a routine check-up can be nerve-wracking for me, but Vicky has such a calm and reassuring approach. She always takes the time to talk everything through, which makes a huge difference. She is exceptional at her job and a real credit to the team. I always joke with her that if she ever leaves—fingers crossed she never does—I’d have to follow wherever she goes!

Complete waste of time - terrible communication skills Here’s a clear, calm Google review you can post. I’ll keep it firm but reasonable so it doesn’t get taken down. I booked an appointment for a scale and polish after calling in advance and being told it would cost £29 if I registered with the practice. I registered on that basis, assuming the appointment being booked was for a scale and polish, but when I arrived I was told I had actually been booked in for a check-up instead. I was then told the dentist might be able to do the scale and polish on the same day depending on time, but after waiting, I was informed the equipment was broken so it couldn’t be done anyway. This was very frustrating as it was the main reason for my visit. I also mentioned to the dentist that I was in pain, and the response I received felt dismissive and not very empathetic, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. Additionally, when I asked on the phone about parking, I was told "yes" they have parking, but this actually meant street parking, which wasn’t clearly explained at the time. Overall, this felt like very poor communication and a waste of time. I did receive a refund, but the whole experience was disappointing and could have been avoided with clearer information and better communication.

I have always been terrified of the dentist since I was little. I have now been at Whitworth dentist for 10+ years and Mehak Sohail is the most amazing, patient and kind dentist I’ve ever had. She has eased my fears over the years and comforted me when I’ve been worried and upset. She has supported me to the point I felt I could go ahead with the Invisalign journey to straighten my teeth after years of being too worried to do it. I wish I’d done it years ago! The results have been incredible and given me so much more confidence. I highly recommend whitworth dentist and Mehak if you’re scared of visiting the dentist! ☺️ xxx

Terrible. Rude, belligerent owner, reception staff are very mixed, one lass is as rude as the owner. Last visit felt rushed and forced, payed no attention to me at all. They messed up the filling, under filled it, then when I went to get it sorted they ground away my tooth as a fix! There are some decent dentists there but equally as many bad ones. Everyone I know that's been there has had a bad experience. Also don't go for the dodgy weekend cash only option, if you have problems it makes it so much harder to force them to sort it out. Definitely won't be going back

Came to Whitworth Dental from Drake Dental practice and can only say that Viraj Parmar is a superb dentist, explains everything and makes you feel very calm and confident with your treatment. Would highly recommend
