I have already sent an email off to experience team.. I have severe health anxiety and I panic so much, especially when it comes to oral health. I had a tooth extracted at a different hospital on the 24th May, it was a difficult extraction and I had alot of pain within a few days, then on the 31st I went to the rvi dental hospital and they were absolutely amazing, yes it's students so the appointment probably took longer than it maybe would have if it wasn't, but I can't fault them, they knew how anxious I was and took all the time needed to reassure me and keep me calm, explained what they were doing every step of the way and took it all my pace, they realised I was calmer having everything explained and did it without question, I also had my 1 year old daughter with me and they were amazing with her too, helping to keep her entertained while they took x-rays, talked to her, played peekaboo with her and alsorts, the 2 students and clinician were really really fantastic at helping me and for the first time in years, I felt calm leaving the dentist, thankyou so much ❤️
All the dentists and staff involved in my son’s tooth extraction today @1pm onwards (07/04/2026) were absolutely brilliant. They all went above and beyond and deserve recognition especially the woman dealing with my son and the ‘sticker lady’ they were absolutely brilliant, and special shoutout to the anesthetist, Rahul I think, he was amazing and my son loved him! I also loved that they put his little teeth in a pouch for the tooth fairy to collect So thank you again!! Picture of my son just in case you were mentioned and I forgot your name. I hope this review brings a smile to your face 🙂
Was referred to dental hospital after having tooth removed but the root remained I seen a lovely student Ella who was gentle and caring and removed the root under the supervision of Emma. Such an amazing job done well done and thank you.
I have Limited Systemic Sclerosis which exascerbated tooth decay, due to the shrinkage of my mouth (the result of scleroderma) and dry mouth caused by my endochrine system no longer producing sufficient saliva. I was referred to the Dental Hospital by my own dentist for a course of restorative treatment. I saw one PhD student whose was name Sammar (I'm not sure I ever knew his surname). A less patient man it would be difficult to meet. He would shout at me throughout my treatment to "Open! Open! Open!" Would that I could open my mouth as widely as once it did. He appeared to have no comprehension of connective tissue disorders. He ground my teeth to stumps before building them back up (whether or not they needed to be ground down; all of his work was okayed by his Professor). I was his patient between 2023 & 2024; we're just at the beginning of 2026. His "restorative work" has resulted directly to the loss of three of those teeth, which have cracked and literally fallen to bits in my mouth; one broke when I was eating Cottage cheese of all things. A horrible man who now has his own practice. What a terrible thought!
I had a great experience with Ciara Docherty. She is very professional, kind, and reassuring, and she took the time to explain everything clearly. Her calm and gentle approach made the appointment comfortable and stress-free. I’m very grateful for the excellent care and would highly recommend her.
I was born with a cleft lip and palete I’m now 61 and lost a few teeth over the years iv paid private a few times for dentures nothing ever fit. My dentist referred me back to here and I saw jenny who step by step made 2 new dentures they are a perfect fit Jenny and her team were all absolutely lovely. I have aniexty, I couldn't relax in the dental surgery I'm now more then happen to return to the dental hospital when ever I need to be seen I got seen bout 5.20pm it was lovely young lad and lady who seen me I can't recommend them enough if you are scared of dentist they are the people to see there so lovely and helpful really made me feel relaxed and was very helpful when the were pulling me tooth out I would give 10/10
