Victoria House Dental Practice - Loughborough

I attended my appointment this morning to start work on my crown. It was a 10:30 appointment and I went in about 7mins late. The process took about 1 hour 25 mins. During all parts of the process everything was explained to me what was happening and what to expect. The dental nurse was lovely too and made me feel at ease. Fahim is very friendly and and also reassuring.

I saw Khatija and Kayla for a prep today and they were brilliant. They keep me informed and reassured the whole way through my treatment. They worked so efficiently together and I was done before I knew it. Thank you both for treating me so well.

I've been going to Victoria House Dental Practice since I was old enough for dental care (as a baby!) and had an amazing dentist for my whole life, who took a well deserved retirement just before/around COVID. I was worried about having a new dentist but realised straight away that Fahim was absolutely wonderful. Patient, kind, approachable and passionate about his patient's dental health, Fahim has made going to the dentist less scary and I am very grateful to him and the lovely nurses, assistants and admin team who together make visiting Victoria House such a positive experience. Thank you all, and thank you to Fahim for being so very understanding when I'm nervous!

Polite reception, polite dentist, polite dental nurse, clean and tidy place. £27.50 for an NHS dental check up. Appointment lasted from 0941 to 0945. Teeth were counted. Advice given to floss a bit more in the lower set of teeth. The dental practice will "recover" the rest of the cost of treatment from the NHS. So that’s upward of £50 for an appointment that lasted 4 minutes.

Really going down hill. All about the money now. I’m Nhs and need a new white filling in a tooth that was filled by this dental practice years ago on the NHS . They won’t replace in white and I have to pay £180. To even make the appointment I had to pay half today when next appointment is in July, otherwise they refuse to even book it in . Disgraceful. Wouldn’t give me an invoice though. I can’t physically have a black one due to an ongoing chronic autoimmune disease where by my body would react to the metal . Been going here over 40 years and wouldn’t recommend. Dentist I saw was very pleasant, my previous one left as the place has gone so downhill. What choice do you have when you can’t get an alternative?

I haven't been to a dentist for a short while and Victoria House is fairly new to me. I visited for hygiene treatment. I was totally impressed, I was treated so well and made to feel comfortable. My teeth are so much better and feel and look well cared for. The receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. I will stay with this practice as long as they will have me. Judith Tansley

Called by a rude and sarcastic receptionist, this was an issue when booking appointments too. I was taken off as a customer as I had health issues and so did my daughter, I was met with no empathy or support. Horrible service and the reception team need extra training with customer service. I was neglected half way through care and told I’d have one last appointment in 2 months which is too far away and going to cause me damage, they’d already prepped my tooth for a crown so it’s exposed and sensitive, this has now cracked leaving me in terrible pain. I am taking this higher, what a disgusting dental practice. Money grabbers with NO respect for nhs patients.
