Park Cottage Dental Practice

As a very nervous patient, I am a particularly sensitive (irrationally so!) patient. I have been visiting Barry for 6 years and would not go to anyone else. Barry and the whole team at the Park Cottage Dental Practice provide the most kind, caring and sensitive service possible. I have only great things to say about Barry and the team who provide a very high level of dental care. Throughout the check ups and various treatments I have had, I have always felt very well taken care of, in terms of the high level of dental work, patient care (for a nervous patient!) and general service. Melanie has also been particularly good at dealing with me, and I would very much recommend Barry, particularly for a nervous patient.

I’ve recently had extensive dental work done by Barry and absolutely delight with the results. Outstanding treatment and support throughout all my visits. I travel up from London to see Barry Simpson. Have been too many dentist's in Glasgow and London and none come close to the experience and treatment from Barry and his staff. I've had both NHS and private work done and both have been exceptional. 100% recommend Park Gate Dental Practice.

The service and care I have received for the last 6 months have been amazing. The patience, transparency and kindness the team have shown me is first class. I underwent work for an Inplant crown and bridge. The procedures, timescales, recovery times and costs were explained throughout. I was given multiple options of care and never felt pressured to make a decision. It never felt like I asked a dumb question. This is a fantastic practise! I have had extensive dental work done by Barry , including having crowns and a bridge and tooth whitening. I am absolutely delighted with the result and cannot thank him enough, not only for the best dental treatment but also for the fantastic care and support throughout. Thanks too to Pauleen the hygienist who has the lightest touch ,Melanie for her skill and positive input, and Janice arranging all the appointments!

Has to be the friendliest dental practice in Glasgow! Initially, as a nervous teenage patient years ago, I could hardly set foot in a dentist without feeling woozy. Barry has changed that for good! Now, as a 30 year old I have zero issues going and my 5 year old daughter (thankfully) loves a trip along! I’ve had fillings and root canal treatment all without an issue. I can’t recommend this practice enough.

A good dental practice that I’ve been using for a good while now. Dr Simpson has been great at improving some issues and making my teeth look a bit better. I’d only suggest maybe describing what is happening a little more and being aware of pressure on someone’s lips/other teeth when doing work. I would have to add a few small negatives and say that the practice is looking a bit tired compared to other dental practices. The treatment rooms could benefit from something to distract patients, even some pictures? They do have a real tendency to run late which I’d guess is them trying to fit in people as much as possible and of course emergencies do come up but maybe one less a day? This would allow a little more time to chat to patients which is something that is lacking. I would add that their plan seems a bit more than others but includes a good amount of treatment whereas others only give discounts.
