Armstrong and Haire

I always get slightly nervous ahead of an appointment with a new dentist, but my first visit at Armstrong & Haire after moving to the area was brilliant. The dentist and dental nurse were both kind and knowledgable and explained everything clearly during my check-up, and the reception team were great too. The dentist went through my options for a mouth guard very clearly and at no point did I feel pressured towards any option in particular, but I had the info I needed to make a decision. Would definitely recommend!

Mine and my families experience at Armstrong and haire for the past 30 years have been excellent, I find that they care more about your dental hygiene than making money, to the point where you might be "in a soft manner" told off if you are not talking care of your Gnashers. The staff and the Dentist are all very kind, caring and professional, which makes going to the Dentist a less stressful experience.

I would highly recommend this place. Had my tooth filled by the dentist Sorour and she explained all the options to me. Overall, it was a painless procedure. I have gotten few fillings before but never had one done where my tooth felt natural afterwards and didn’t end up with my whole mouth numb.

An excellent visit to the Hygienist resulting in a noticeable improvement in the removal of plaque and staining. My teeth appeared whiter and worth the cost of this service.

Great Dentist. However after covid I must have called at least half a dozen times for me and my son to be told for around 12-18 months it was emergency cases only. Then dealing with back logs. So I left it a while and am now told I've been kicked off. No call, email, letter nothing! The receptionist although lovely said they dont send reminders. Not happy about that obviously. Now the waiting list is full. 😏

I had a different chap this time , seems to change quite a bit. Was ok , made me look like a Rabbit at first but not too bad now he chopped a bit off. He did seem to work the assistant a lot.

Would highly recommend this practice as the staff are really friendly and helpful always managed to be seen in an emergency even through covid. Our dentist Simon is great, always takes time to explain what’s needed etc and always does a great job.
