I had my appt today with Aoife(Dentist) and Jo (Dental Nurse)and honestly cant thank them enough. They both work so well as a team and clearly love what they do which is so lovely to see. Aoife has such a calming reassuring approach and I instantly felt relaxed. She explains everything she is doing step by step so you know whats happening. Aoife even managed to get all the work on my teeth done within around 40 mins and I didnt feel a thing. I was only going in for a check up but she said she could sort everything out so I didnt have to book time off work or anything for another 6 months. Im now booked in in 6 months time. I recently had my old silver (amalgam) filling replaced with a white composite one, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! Dr. Sher Maine was incredibly professional and attentive throughout the entire process. She explained every step clearly, making sure I felt comfortable and informed. The procedure was quick and completely painless, and the new white filling looks amazing! It blends perfectly with my natural tooth color and feels completely smooth and natural. I highly recommend Dr Sher Maine to anyone looking for a dentist who truly cares and takes the time to do things right.

£30 cancelation fee for having the decency to phone up and tell them i couldnt make an appointment as it wasnt within 24 hours. No mention of this anywhere on the website so be aware. Shocking and ashameded way to make money off long term customers since moving to a 'my dentist' brand. Dental work is usually done to a good standard though.

I was a patient at Fintra for over 40 years. When I needed treatment during covid they told me that they were not seeing patients because of the pandemic and to phone back in 3 months. So 3 months later I was told that they were waiting on a new dentist starting and to ring back in a month. I rang every 4 weeks but was told that the new dentist hadn’t started yet. After nearly 2 years of trying to get an appointment at this practice, I was then told that I had been removed from their books because I hadn’t been there in a couple of years. I tried explaining that I had been trying to get an appointment for nearly 2 years but the receptionist wouldn’t listen. Since then I have found out that during the pandemic, Fintra removed a lot of their long term patients from their books, including me, without notifying them. I never missed a payment or an appointment in all those years. It has taken a while but I have recently found a new dental practice and they are wonderful.

After not attending an appointment due to the terrible work carried out on previous appointment where the dentist shaved down a perfectly good looking front tooth without telling me. Leaving me with a dark hole in the tooth. When I called to finally get the work completed. Again totally unnecessary work as I was in for a root canal on a back tooth. I was told the dentist has fined me £35 for non attendance. They refused to book me in without paying the £35. This is the latest in a long line of terrible experiences with these guys. Replaced part of a front veneer that had chipped with a cover that was 6 shades darker than the veneer itself leaving me with a brown front tooth and a hole in another. Avoid these guys at all costs.
