Castlegate Dental Centre

It was as always a pleasant experience at Castlegate Dental Care.If I'm completely honest the hygienist is my least favourite treatment. But it was carried out with care and no problem, we even had a laugh talking about my footballing days. So thanks to all the team for keeping me smiling.

I had an emergency appointment with Rachel who carried out a composite bond repair on my chipped front tooth. I was very distressed but Rachel explained the process, took an Xray and carefully carried out the repair. It’s an exact match to the rest of my tooth and you can’t even tell it’s ever been chipped. I really am astonished at how good it is and absolutely delighted with the result. Thank you so much!

Always an excellent service here. Highly skilled dentists, kind and caring and put you at ease. Very warm, friendly, helpful staff. Nigel is my dentist and he is brilliant, very experienced and professional. He explains about the reasons for the treatment, which I have always found pain free. A wonderful place this is.

Absolutely brilliant dental care centre. I used to come here as a kid but recently started using them again after moving back to York. I see Rachel and Lisa who are both excellent. They are very friendly, polite and chatty. They really care about providing a great service and I always feel at ease and relaxed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Yes it's expensive as it's private health care, but it is well worth the money.

I’d recently been referred to the hospital to have roots surgically removed following a failed tooth extraction at my usual NHS dentist. The referral to the hospital was to take up to 52 weeks do I made the decision to go private and use Castlegste Dental Centre. From the moment I arrived all staff were very welcoming and polite. Dr Alice who operated on me was very reassuring and calming which helped settle my nerves. Before I knew it she’d completed the extraction and I was on my way. Completing this review I’m 9 hours since surgery and was expecting a lot of pain, but have next to nothing which to me shows what a good job Dr Alice and her team did. I’m very very pleased with the full service provided so thank you everyone at Castlegste Dental Centre. I’d definitely recommend.
