Bupa Dental Care York - Lawrence Street

Had an hygienist appt today with Catriona, what a fantastic experience! She was so gentle, no hard pressure or pain at all and my teeth feel great now. I’d recommend her any day, friendly and no judging at all. I forgot to ask her about composite bonding but I’ll be back after some more treatment for a consultation I think. Dentists are not my favourite place to go, hygienist visits in the past elsewhere have been horrendous so I was quite nervous about going. I needn’t of worried today. I recently changed dentists too, I now have Rosan, fabulous! Really is professional, friendly and reassuring Shout out to the ladies in reception, always there with a smile and ever helpful! Came here after having an awful experience with my previous dental practice and subsequently developed a small fear of dentists. However, the receptionists are so lovely here and the dentists are very friendly and professional. I always feel comfortable here.

I had a fantastic experience with Natasha the hygienist. From the moment I sat down, she made me feel completely at ease with her warm and reassuring manner. She gave my teeth a thorough clean, and I didn’t feel a thing—she’s incredibly gentle and professional. On top of that, Natasha has a great sense of humour, which made the whole appointment surprisingly enjoyable. I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for top-notch care with a personal touch!

Zara executed this difficult and large filling with great skill and care! Thanks to her expertise there was no pain and, unbelievably, zero pain afterwards! Thank you so much, Zara!

As a family we’ve used this dental surgery for 15 years. Mr Brown is an exceptional dentist. Recently I had to have a tooth extraction due to an accident which resulted in a bridge. Mr Brown is gentle, informative and even the numbing injection wasn’t painful. Over 3 appointment he’s been brilliant and I’m delighted with the work done. I can’t recommend him or the surgery high enough.

Always have had an excellent service from BUPA Dental Care. Lawrence Street. York. I am an NHS patient and I am treated the same as a private patient.

Terrible dental practice , no idea what the manager does apart from be evasive and scowl a lot. My teeth are so much worse after orthodontic work, cracked and painful but nobody has addressed this, I've seen different people within the surgery and have got nowhere. A total waste of time and money having it done. There are a couple of the receptionist that are nice, but the others are unhelpful to the point of rudeness, when trying to make an appointment you can be in the phone for ages before getting cut off, once you have pressed option one, pressed to still wait etc. I've attempted conversation with the manager but it was like talking to a brick wall.
