What a fantastic practice! Thanks so much for expert dental care and advice. Also huge thanks to Mrs Malik for taking on board my gripes about pre consultation cosmetic marketing on the medical form. I can’t fault the service received here technically as it was perfectly good, staff friendly and helpful etc, but as a patient with limited budget hoping to get the few small improvements that I could afford done - as I had done 10 years or so before at the same dentist - I got the impression that carrying out less than a complete dental makeover, at more cost than was affordable for me without a loan, was of no interest to the dentist concerned. It would have been nice to have been told what my budget would allow and to get that done with no quibbles. The dentist I have now gone to gave me a fully costed plan, within my budget and covering the needed improvements.

I went to this practice for a tooth repair. After a few months it fell to pieces & despite being under 1yr guarantee, when I phoned the surgery the reception told me that the dentist no longer worked there. This was a blatant lie, she is still working there. They then cancelled my appointment and refused to take my calls. They spoke to me in a way that was very upsetting and reneged on their contract to fix my tooth. I was offered a refund, which in no way makes up for such terrible unethical practice and lack of patient care. I would never recommend this place to anyone. It is not what it claims to be on their website. With a fast turnover of dentists, none of which seem to have been there very long. I can only assume that they deal with other complaints by saying "they don't work here any more".

Dentists are okay but unfortunately Mandy the receptionist from hell is back. She has been rude to myself, everyone in my family and is generally unhelpful and aggressive. Seriously thinking about going back to my old dentist so I don't have to deal with her attitude. If you are thinking about coming here, think again. Updated Feb 24: after waiting months for an NHS appointment for my child which had already been re-arranged - got an email saying they had cancelled tomorrow’s appointment as I had not filled in an online form 48 hours in advance( was in my spam). It’s a form I’ve filled in many many times. Called to confirm this was the case - just told yes. No offer to rebook or let me do the form now. Clearly not interested in seeing him as they won’t make any money. Son is now fully private at another dentist’s office. These people are ridiculous.

I have been a patient at Improve Your Smile / Woodford House Dental practice for around 20+ years now. The staff are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly too. I recently had an overbite corrected using invisalign retainers which I wore for around 8 months - in additon to this I had my teeth whitened and my chipped teeth bonded. I am so happy with the results which are far better than I could have hoped for, I can't stop smiling! A big thank you to Dr. Malik, Dr. Panagiota and their wonderful team.

I struggle with anxiety especially when it comes to dentists. I needed to get two fillings done and worked up so much anxiety that I cried as soon as I got into the room! However, Miss Patel really made me feel comfortable and took everything at the pace I felt comfortable with. I had a really pleasant experience and left feeling a lot better about the dentist! The fillings look amazing too (you would never know they were there). Highly recommend! Especially if you get nervous about going to the dentist.

If you want to be hugely overcharged then use this dentist! I certainly won’t be using them again!
