Alexander Weeks is an exceptional dentist - I've seen him a few times over the past couple of years - his knowledge, skill & insight go far beyond what one expects from a local NHS dentist, and he has helped with complex historical issues I'd been struggling with most of my life. The additional research, training, expertise & understanding of complex comorbid conditions has made the world of a difference! The staff are lovely, and the receptionist Asha has always been professional, kind & a delight. I can recommend this dental practice to anyone needing to learn how to manage their dental future better, as the straightforward, kind advice & guidance is invaluable & I always leave here feeling positive & empowered & hopeful for my future. Where do I begin? Around two months ago, I took what felt like a huge step and finally decided to get my teeth sorted. As someone with PTSD and a real fear of dentists, I honestly never thought I would get as far as I have. Today, I have sparkling teeth and a smile that I am proud to show to anyone and everyone. Kirun, and your lovely assistant (whose name I am so embarrassed to have forgotten), you truly are the dream team. From the very beginning, there was never any judgement—just kindness, reassurance, and the most amazing care I have ever experienced. Thank you both so much for helping me smile again. Your patience, understanding, and incredible skill have completely transformed my confidence. I am absolutely beaming with happiness, and I cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for me. You have made a lasting difference to my life, and I will always be entirely grateful…. Check-up lasted only a few minutes. Despite mentioning that I occasionally suffer a little pain no X-rays were taken ('you're not due for X-rays, we usually only do them every year or two'). Apparently my teeth seemed to display a bit of excess plaque, however obviously not enough to justify a 'scale and polish' (which is supposedly included within 'A' band treatment, if required). Dentist was very pleasant and attentive, however I just felt it was all a bit rushed!
