Tor Lodge Dental Practice

New to the area it has taken a while to find this dental practice and I am grateful for the recommendation. Friendly, professional and sensitive to the needs of their patients; everything one could ask for but a rarity to find. Thank you.

I have had a problematic teeth for nearly a year now. Jenny has been sympathetic and knowledgeable finding a solution to a difficult diagnosis. I have been back several times and always met with great kindness, care and professionalism which has been much appreciated. Thank you to Jenny, Richard, Louise and their team for being so helpful.

Having moved back to Devon a couple of years ago after being in the West Midlands for a while, I was having some tooth trouble so started searching for a new dentist around the Torbay area. I had lost my previous NHS dentist and discovered that it was neigh impossible to find any available NHS dentists in this area so resigned to looking at private practices. I did a lot of research prior to choosing Tor Lodge as I wanted to make sure I picked the right one, and I am so glad I decided to go with them. As someone who is absolutely terrified of going to the dentist and will avoid it at all costs, I have to say my dentist Cecilia along with her nurse Eloise were excellent at making me feel at ease and explaining everything, as well as setting a plan of action to resolve my issue. I had to go back for several appointments and the whole team are always kind, professional and knowledgeable. Louise at reception is always lovely and welcoming and greets you with a smile. I have been recommending them to family and friends already and will continue to do so!

My son has been going to this practice for 12 months and they are so friendly and always make him feel at ease. I often have to move his appointment due to my work commitments. Special shout out to Emma and Louise who are always so welcoming. Thank you to the whole team!

Every time we visit Tor Lodge for our dental checkups we are met with a warm welcome from Emma and Lou. Myself and my 2 children are always treated with kindness and patience by all the staff - we are never apprehensive about visiting. Jenny is wonderful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. I know we are so lucky to still receive such excellent service - particularly with the NHS at breaking point. Appointments are always on time, we have never been rearranged and are so grateful to all members of staff who are working tirelessly to offer their patients a brilliant service. Thank you to you all for all you do for me and my family.

I have visited this practice for a long time now and frankly wouldn't go anywhere else. I followed this lovely couple when they left their previous practice and set up their own. They provide an excellent service and private dental care is more affordable than I expected it to be. The reception staff are also very efficient. The phone is answered promptly and they are very courteous and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this practice!

I had previously been a been a patient with the fabulous Mr Yates for 27* years. His practice relocated a few doors up. He has now retired. I nervously visited Richard and his smiley team, who immediately made me feel at ease. The lovely dental nurses all wear matching colourful crocs. Great styling. My experience has given me a new found confidence to keep up to date with regular appointments. I have already returned for a thorough scale and polish, meeting their very professional hygienist. The best I’ve ever had. I also signed up for their denplan, which makes everything easier on the purse. Highly recommended.
