Community Dental Services

Booked in for an emergency tooth extraction. From point of booking to procedure the service was amazing. Maria was very reassuring and patient and the procedure was swift and painless. Thankyou so much.

I have now left 7 messages over 7 days and still waiting for a call back, unless the two times I did get a call that were from a hidden number and when I picked up and said 'hello' all I could hear was background noise for 30 seconds What are these people doing? Are they getting paid for this?, and is this another nhs waste of time and service?. There is no instruction on what sort of message to leave or what to say etc, it all seems very uncaring and amateurish.. do they not understand that people are in a great deal of pain and suffering? No wonder the NHS is going down the pan. It's not a game.

So helpful on the phone and managed to get me in on the same day as I called and the dentist and dental nurse were amazing ! I’m terrified of the dentist and has to have a tooth taken out but they made me feel calm and felt like they were actually listening to my needs !

Castle Circus Staff in person, and on the phone, have been great. Unfortunately, there are limited services available in the Torbay area for dental practice. 08:45 is the opening time of the dental (voicemail) referral line and you have to be prompt leaving a message to have a chance of an appointment somewhere. NB: The times shown if you search via Google are incorrect (i.e 08:50 opening) so calling at this time, or later, will not be fruitful. This has been fedback several times but it hasn't been updated.

Called and left message to cancel appointment for my autistic son who was in complete meltdown about attending despite being in a lot of pain and with half a tooth missing. Got a call back to say we shouldn’t have booked if it’s not an emergency and that we won’t be able to attend again! Absolutely horrific way to behave and treat a child.

Amazing efficient experience had. From the reception staff,through to Kelly the dental nurse and the wonderful dentist. Very grateful for this under appreciated service .

Claim to be autism friendly waits 6 months to be seen by a dentist total ignorance could cause my daughter to stop eating or cleaning her teeth dont bother
