Parkfield Dental Surgery Ltd

My wife and I have been with Parkfield Dental in Taunton for a long time now, and have always found the team to be so kind and caring, in particular our dentist Mike Biccard and the lovely receptionists. Yes you may have to wait until tomorrow, if you have an issue, but from our experience if they can possibly fit you in with a dentist, on the same day, they certainly will. Perhaps those that have given less than favourable reviews need to be a little more pleasant, patient and understanding.

Always a trainee or newly qualified dentist, the first two dentists i saw for periodontal under gum cleaning were great. The third just qualified dentist i saw for the same treatment was shocking the pain was unbelievable through out the injections and treatment, then for a week later I was still in pain this had never happened before for the same treatment. Put me off of ever having my gums cleaned again.

Very impressed with this surgery. My wife had braces fitted and a tooth out by Julie who was extremely welcoming and put my wife’s mind at ease whilst having the consultations and treatments. She talked us both through everything that was going to happen step by step and was very helpful in any questions myself or my wife had. Highly recommend.

My Asc and adhd son had an emergency appointment 17/5/2024 due to breaking his front tooth, the dentist, dental assistant were struggling with him, (he walked out twice) and another lady who works there knew we needed help, she explained and got them to show him everything that they were using etc which made him feel more comfortable and put him slightly at ease. I didn't get the lady's name but she was amazing and helped so much. Thankyou!

Appalling service given by this surgery. Struck off the register without any notification through no fault of my own. As a family we had an appointment in the diary pre-covid that was cancelled by the surgery. Then post-covid trying to get an appointment was informed by the frankly rude receptionist that none of us are now registered. I appreciate the government are being total a-holes at the moment with policy, but it's completely unhelpful for a local dentist to strike us all off in these circumstances.

My husband has just attended the surgery and was treated by a dental practitioner not a fully fledged dentist! They are not qualified to give any pain relief and yet the charge is the same. It’s disgraceful and unjustifiable. £220. Shameful.

I have never had such an amazing service with impeccable professionalism and talent. The end-to-end experience; having a root canal and crown fitted, was virtually painless, stress free and the results: stunning. It's like having my original tooth back. The dentist was incredible. Simply incredible. Watching her and her team work was comparable to a dance. In sync, as a team and flawless. Why would I EVER want to g anywhere else.
