Smile Dental Care - Tadcaster

I attended today for a rearranged appointment because I was not satisfied with the previous treatment provided. This appointment was agreed over the phone between myself and the practice manager. I arrived at 11:45am and waited for approximately 30 minutes before being seen. The appointment itself lasted no more than five minutes. I left without receiving the deep clean that had been discussed, as the dentist stated they did not have time to carry it out. I also found the receptionist, Helen, difficult to deal with throughout the process. As a result, I have submitted a formal complaint. I took a day off work, travelled a 50-mile round trip, and spent both time and money attending an appointment that achieved nothing. I was also charged £27.90, and I am unclear as to what this payment was for given that the agreed treatment was not provided. Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience, with poor communication, wasted time, and a lack of regard for the inconvenience caused.

A really fantastic dentist I'm a support worker and having searched around for three years for my client with disabilities we were so pleased to be accepted ,they go above and beyond ,there is steps at the front of the building but they do have access via the back .Helen we spoke to today she is so helpful and friendly nothing is too much trouble ,I just want to thankyou for all your help you have given Jon over the last two years

Always had a great experience at this dental practice until recently. New dental staff member looked at my teeth, then sat me up to leave. I asked for them to be cleaned as I was going on holiday. He put the chair back down picked around doing a basic clean with a tool, no polishing etc. I was left unhappy with this, in comparison to my previous visits with the usual dentist who was fantastic.

If I could give them zero stars I would do. Every single appointment I have had they have cancelled 😞 💀

Attended Smile Tadcaster this week really lovely experience very good and detailed examination me and my wife were well pleased lovely lady and assistant

This was my first visit to Smile. The Ladies on Reception were welcoming and professional. My Dentist Sara, and Dental Nurse Ben, were friendly and professional and they took great care of me being a nervous patient due to a traumatic experience with wisdom tooth extraction many years ago at a different Dental Practice. The Practice is spotlessly clean and comfortable. 5 🌟

1 star is too many 😩 this is honestly the worse dentist I've ever been too! All they care about it money for doing shoddy work and that's if you can even get an appointment! I went in last year for a filling replacing and only had it done as they told me it needed replacing but it wasn't causing me any bother then, the first appointment was cancelled but they still rang me wanting payment even though they hadn't done it yet! And it has been nothing but bother ever since they "fixed" it .. Straight away once my mouth was no longer numb I knew it wasn't right not only was it incredible painful but I couldn't close my teeth together at all 😩 so I rang them up and they made me wait a week for an emergency appointment unable to eat at all as I couldn't close my teeth together, went in and he filled it down some it still wasn't right but was better than before. I said it's really really hurting and was told that's normal and would settle in a few weeks so I waited a few weeks and it didn't settle it was worse to the point I had to go to the doctor's to get painkillers prescribed because I couldn't get an appointment with smile they just kept saying they had no dentist so ring 111 and I did a few times to be told as I already had a dentist they couldn't help either 😩 it took months to finally get an appointment with them to look at the filling and see why it was still painful. The minute I walked in the door before I even sat down in the waiting room or before I even knew what needed doing they wanted more money out of me even though it was an ongoing problem with the same tooth that they caused 😩 .. I went in to have it looked at and it was a different person than who did it and she said they reason it was hurting was that the filling was sat right on the nerve of my tooth and the only options I had now were to have it pulled and loose the tooth or have a root canal but as even said she wouldn't have it done there and I would be better off going private for it if I wanted it done right! Which I can't afford that's why I went to the NHS dentist 😩 I honestly don't ever want to go back I feel like I couldn't trust them to do the work correctly 😔
