One Wood Street Advanced Dental Care. Implants and Specialist Dentistry

As an extremely nervous patient I had my first appointment with One Wood Street today. This was a check up, my first in over a decade due to my fear of dentists. I was seen by Lajja who listened to my concerns and made me feel confident about having the check up completed. This was done carefully with Lajja explaining everything at each step. I was quickly made to feel comfortable. The appointment was thorough and included an x-ray which was done by Stacey who was also very reassuring so I was able to complete everything and leave the appointment feeling good about the whole experience. I am returning for another check up in 6 months and won’t have any concerns at all about that. I even booked a hygienist appointment! Can’t recommend them enough.

First time visiting this dentist today and I had a really positive experience. The whole team was very professional and welcoming — the reception staff were lovely and made me feel comfortable right away. Lajja, was excellent. She explained everything clearly throughout the examination, including the treatment plan and transparent pricing, which made the whole experience feel reassuring and straightforward. The exam rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and I really appreciated being shown photos and X-rays of my teeth on the monitor by the chair which made it easier to understand next steps. Overall, a great service from start to finish. I felt relaxed the entire time and would highly recommend!

I recently had a root canal filling at One Wood Street. Impressive from start to finish. The clinic is well laid out with all the latest equipment - every where was spotless. My procedure took place over three visits. Marina exuded warmth and professionalism and clearly explained all aspects of the procedure. The treatment was pain free and the aftercare advice was very helpful. Fatoumata was very kind and reassuring throughout the procedures. I have no hesitation in recommending both Marina & Fatoumata.

Amazing practice has helped me a long the way since I started my orthodontic treatment 2 years ago. Lajja work is exceptional she is so detailed and keeps you updated at every step. The team at wood street are super friendly too. Can’t recommend them enough. Today I got my braces off and lajja completed my front tooth rebuild and I now have the best smile I’ve ever had at over 50. It’s never too late so if you want great dentistry this is the place to go.

A lovely friendly dentist, where all the staff make you feel at ease. Alison and Clare were wonderful, so chatty, friendly and helpful. I had a filling done with no pain at all and it was carried out very professionally. I also had some work carried out by Julia last year and early this year, again very friendly, very professional and made to feel at ease. I would definitely recommend this dental practise. A great team.

I was referred to this practice by my dentist for a second opinion on whether or not I might need root canal treatment after having experienced a dull aching pain for about 7 weeks. After seeing Marina Spaniki who carried out two x rays, I asked for a CT scan as I wanted to really know for sure what was going on in the area of my mouth and was offered it immediately at the same appointment. This confirmed to Marina that I did not need root canal treatment and that there was infection in a wisdom tooth and needed to be extracted. She then introuduced me to her colleague Peter Yesudian who would carry out the extraction. Today I visited the clinic again for the extraction and Peter is such a lovely guy, I had previously spoken to him about my vertigo as I cannot have my head put back in certain positions and he remembered and was very accomodating and did all he could to ensure I was happy with the seat position. His assistant Kelly was so informative and welcoming. Peter gave me two injections to numb the site then topped up again after about ten minutes. Kelly explained that as the tooth was so close to my ear, I would hear what was going on but not feel anything and within 20-30 seconds the tooth was out, I couldn't believe it ! I was so relieved as I am always a bit nervous when visiting the dentist. The after care advice was given in written format and verbally. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. The proffessionalism and care by all the people I came into contact with cannot be praised enough. I would have no hesitation in recommending this team.
