Brockley House Dental

I have had a good service from the NHS dentist and his colleagues. However, he referred me to Mr Henderson a private dentist who practices at the surgery. I waited 6 months to get an appointment and only got one after I complained at a routine checkup. I had to rearrange my day to get to the appointment. I arrived 15 mins early. Fourty mins later two of us were informed he was running 15 mins late, yet he was already 20 mins late for my appointment. 30 mins later I was informed I would be next. However, 10 mins later I had to leave or risk a large car park fine. I tried to book another appointment, but the only slot was on my birthday and was not in Stroud. I was then told, there was no more bookings and I would have to wait. What I was having to wait for, and how long that would have to be was not clear. Two other people who came in after me also had to cancel because their work or other commitments. What amazes me is this is the private sector not the NHS. I bet I get no apology from the Dentist concern. I will now contact my MP, but no doubt that will be a waste of time, as I will be just one more complaint to add to his list.

Ive been a patient at this practice for many years and have always found them to be friendly and helpful. On my recent visit my appointment was on time and my treatment was very quick and efficient as usual.

Garen, my dentist is always polite and shows genuine interest when interacting and examining my teeth. I am afraid of dentists stemming back to my school dentist experience, but I feel reassured Garen is not going to do anything without taking care to explain and give me options. I travel from the Somerset, to visit the practice,(I moved from Stroud to Somerset) as I really do feel confident with Garen being my dentist.

The female dentist we saw on Wednesday this week for my son was amazing! My son is 8 and even though he’s used to regularly having check ups he’s never has anything done before so I was worried he’d be nervous, however the dentist explained everything to my son and myself throughout and was very gentle and had a lovely nature. This resulted in my son not being phased at all which was great! Thank you so much 🙏🏻

I recently had an extraction done by Dr. Jenita. I must say, the procedure was done with atmost precision and care. I was guided through each step of my treatment plan meticulously. I must admit, the procedure was not something to look forward to , but the entire reception team, nurses and of course Dr. Jenita made my day so much at ease. I would like to also thank my hygienist, Bivina who took time to explain everything in detail and completed the procedure with atmost care. Thank you all for the amazing service that is being provided.

I was welcomed at reception after a while and made my way to waiting spaces. At appropriate exact time I was called and had a very good session with dentist - felt very good at end of session. I enquired about signing my son up to Brockley House Dentist and was given an appointment for him on the same day! All the staff were so lovely, offering to hold my baby while I filled out forms etc, which didn’t go unnoticed. Izzy at reception was very warm, welcoming and chatty. The dentist was very patient with my squirmy baby. Overall a great experience for my son’s first dentist appointment. Thank you!
