Village Dental Practice

I’ve been going to Village Dental in Stevenage for my regular check‑ups and hygienist appointments, and they’re honestly fantastic. Huge shout‑out to Shurmaine, who always does an amazing job,she’s thorough, gentle and genuinely brilliant at what she does. And Rachel deserves just as much praise. She’s always so friendly, professional and reassuring, and you can really tell she cares about doing a great job every time. They both greet you with big smiles and make you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The whole team is polite, helpful and just really lovely to deal with. It’s one of those places where you actually don’t dread going to the dentist. Highly recommend.

I moved to this practise as I had lost faith in the dentist I had. On my first visit I was seen by a lovely dentist called Dareen who was very thorough with my examination. It turned out that I needed to have a filing replaced which she did there and then and I couldn't fault her work. I have recently had my second check up there and this time I saw a dentist called John as Dareen wasn't there. Once again I couldn't fault a thing, explaining everything, never feeling rushed and being encouraged to ask questions. Would I recommend 100%.

From the moment you walk in, Rachel on reception sets the tone, friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. She makes the whole visit feel easy and relaxed. My hygienist, Shurmaine, is fantastic. She’s gentle, thorough, and explains everything in a way that makes you feel completely at ease. You can tell she really cares about her patients and takes pride in her work. John, my dentist, is equally brilliant, professional, reassuring, and incredibly knowledgeable. He takes the time to talk through options and makes sure you’re comfortable every step of the way. The whole team works together seamlessly, creating an environment that feels both professional and genuinely caring. I always leave feeling well looked after. Highly recommend.

I can’t recommend Village Dental Practice highly enough! From the moment you walk in, you’re made to feel welcome and completely at ease. The whole team is professional, caring, and genuinely committed to making every visit as comfortable as possible. A special mention has to go to Rachel on reception – she is absolutely fantastic! So friendly, patient, and incredibly helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her, whether it’s fitting you in for an appointment, answering questions, or just greeting you with a warm smile that instantly puts you at ease. I have always had a very pleasent experience at this practice! Everyone you deal with is very nice, professional and helpful. The hygienist is always great and does an amazing job. The dentist I see is also very nice and she's always welcoming to both me and my children. The receptionists are very polite and you always feel welcomed walking in. I am very happy being a patient here, thank you all!

I’ve been attending Village Dental Practice for a number of years now since my former trusted dentist retired. I was pleasantly surprised at how welcoming the practice and staff have been from the start. I attend both dentist and hygienist Shurmaine who are both fantastic and make every visit a pleasant (and importantly painless) one. Recommend to anybody who has reservations transitioning from another practice or new to the area.

The Dental Practice is a very friendly run Practice. All the staff are polite and helpful, your never rushed, always contacted the day before appointment to make sure everything is ok. I had extended treatment, during this process we fully discussed every aspect of the treatment and this made me relaxed in the knowledge I was getting the best that could be done . I certainly would recommend this Practice.
