My initial visit to Dr. Ruby Magooa at the  MyDentist Palmerston Road practice was prompted by significant dental discomfort. I was promptly scheduled for an appointment, and Dr. Magooa exhibited exceptional kindness and patience, thoroughly explaining the entire procedure. It was determined that a root canal treatment was necessary, and the referral was processed on the same day. The entire process was completed within a few days, and I also have a subsequent appointment scheduled with the hygienist. I am highly satisfied with the overall experience and wholeheartedly recommend their services. Thank you.

So so happy with my experience at My Dentist. I have been going in regularly to have my teeth straightened with Francisco and then whitened and bonded with Dove - every staff member I have come into contact with has been so helpful and friendly, I actually enjoy going to the dentist which is something I never thought I would say! A special mention to Dove and Beth who have been particularly amazing, going over and above to make sure my bonding was perfect for me - I’m so happy, I cannot recommend them enough. Thank you! ☺️

Waited past my appointment time. Spent less than 5 minutes with dentist. Quick look in my mouth told him about a sensitive tooth, took very little notice. Mentioned an X-ray didn’t happen. Told me not to wear my partial denture so much, never mentioned this for the past 2 years.

The Dentist was good, but I found the process of having to pay upon arrival before your appointment, plus a request to pre-pay for a check up in 6 months time was a little too commercially focused for my liking. More than happy to pay, but when payment is asked for in advance, it's a little off putting. I thought the appointment would last a little longer, I was in and out in around 15 - 20 minutes, but that may not be a bad thing, I was just surprised it was so quick.

My experience was overwhelmingly positive. The staff were friendly and very reassuring. I had an extraction and it was painless and quick. Probably the most positive dental experience I've had, to be honest . 5 stars!

My usual dentist couldn't give me an appointment but thankfully the Palmerston Rd clinic were very helpful in getting me in that day. Dentist and all staff were kind and welcoming. Changing my practice

Dental Treatment and Billing Experience Initial Treatment Plan The original plan was to undergo three fillings, which would have cost approximately £726.00. Due to the significant expense, I opted to proceed only with the two essential fillings, expecting the fee to be around £500.00. Appointment and Unexpected Treatment The appointment was scheduled for only half an hour, so I anticipated that only the two agreed fillings would be completed. However, the dentist, Sholoma Hayut, treated the third filling instead. It was only after the procedure that I realised the tooth I had not wanted to be treated had been worked on. Billing and Financial Impact As a result, the final bill is expected to exceed £700.00, which amounts to half of my monthly salary. The current cost of living has had a serious impact on my income, making this unexpected expense particularly burdensome. It is worth noting that I had specifically requested only the two fillings at the reception when booking my appointment.
