1a Dentist, 74 Fowler street, South Shields

Went to the dentist for IV sedation. The office and the dentist who did my extraction was amazing. I don't trust dentists at all but Andy? I'd let him take out all my teeth. Thank you for having so much patience with me, thank you for being a superb dentist and making sure my needs and fears were addressed first. You have no idea how relieved and happy I am.

I attended 1a Dentist this week with my daughter, who needed to have some teeth removed before getting her brace fitted. I believe the dentist we saw was James, and he was excellent. He explained everything clearly to my daughter and made the whole experience feel calm, manageable, and far less daunting for her. After a previous bad experience elsewhere, this was such a refreshing change. The care, patience, and reassurance shown really made a difference, and my daughter felt completely at ease throughout. We’re so grateful for the kindness and professionalism from everyone we encountered, and we’ve now added ourselves to the waiting list to become patients here. It’s exactly the level of care we’ve been hoping to find. Thank you.

Attended 1A dentist today to have my wisdom tooth extracted and the care I received was phenomenal as always. I first visited this dental practice two years ago and since then Ali has always went above and beyond. He is a wonderful dentist and I genuinely wouldn’t go anywhere else. He always takes time to talk me through every minor detail and this helps me feel relaxed. He’s also recently made me a new crown which again was brilliant, I genuinely can’t thank him enough. Keep up the brilliant work!!

I've had amazing treatment from every dentist I've seen at the practice but Patrick has seen me for 3 different appointments and all of them went perfectly. He was quick, efficient and friendly. Thank you Patrick and to all of the nurses (sorry for not getting everyone's names) if I could rate more than 5 stars, I would!

I cannot thank Alister and Beth as well as the team enough for the incredible care I received this week. After being squeezed in for an emergency and started on antibiotics, my infection unfortunately worsened into horrific, unbearable pain by Saturday. Despite being fully booked, Alister saw me during his own dinner break to get me out of pain. He completely put me at ease, talked me through every step, and was so patient with my dental anxiety. I’m honestly devastated that I can’t have him as my regular dentist! From the lovely receptionists to the dental nurse, this practice goes above and beyond. Thank you for everything!

I often need an emergency dentist as I lie and lots if people want to knock my teeth out with a shovel then set dogs onto me like a badger. But ill always have emergency treatment available here. My home away from home!
