I am sharing my personal experience as an NHS patient. When I first attended around four years ago, the dentist was pleasant and professional. Over time, however, I felt her communication became condescending, particularly when I asked questions or expressed concerns about treatment options. During my time at the practice, a number of my back teeth were ultimately extracted. These were teeth that had previously received fillings, after which I experienced ongoing pain. When I raised this, extraction was the main option discussed, with the view expressed that root canal treatment would most likely fail. I would have appreciated a more detailed discussion of alternatives or a recommendation for a second opinion. When implants were suggested, I explained that I could not afford the high costs quoted for private implant treatment, I asked about payment plans. While it was eventually acknowledged that a payment option existed, it was not discussed further in any detail. Overall, I felt a lack of engagement during the consultation. Following my most recent visit, I have decided to register with another dental practice. This review reflects my personal experience, and others may have different experiences.

Worst dentist I have ever been to, I was treated as an NHS patient by some Indian lady and she honestly is the most disgusting human being I have ever encountered and the worst most unprofessional dentist I have ever encountered in my life. AVOID AVOID AVOID IF YOU DON'T WANT YOUR TEETH TO BE RUINED. IT'S A SHAME I CAN'T GIVE NEGATIVE STARS

Had a fantastic experience here recently with Dr Nikhat Fatima. I chipped both front teeth and she saw me very quickly and did an excellent composite bonding repair. I've waited a few weeks to write this review to check the repair stood up over time and it has - they look great and feel strong. As a cosmetic repair it was not covered by NHS but the fees charged were very reasonable for the level of work involved. Would not hesitate to recommend.

I took my dad to Dr. Nikhat Fatima for an emergency wisdom tooth extraction, and she was excellent. The procedure was efficient, and she gave clear aftercare instructions, even following up to check on his recovery. I was so impressed that I also scheduled an appointment for my brother, and she provided the same outstanding care. The ‘mydentist’ team was equally accommodating and professional. So glad to have found a reliable family dentist. Highly recommend!

Dentist (Mr Pretorius) told me my two broken teeth were too far gone for crowns and that I’d have to just live with them and eventually have dentures. A private dentist gave me two beautiful crowns and said he could not understand why I’d been told that. My theory is that they didn’t want NHS payment for a big job! Whatever the reason, he was wrong and they were not beyond crowning.

I needed to have an emergency appointment at My Dentist in Burnham as I had an old implant come loose that I had put in abroad quite a few years ago. I wasn't sure what to expect as the cost of implants these days are very expensive. I was seen by Dr Fatima who put my mind at rest that it could be repaired. On returning to the dentist a few days later Dr Fatima managed to get the tooth and the pin out without any damage and replace it within just over 30 minutes. I had no discomfort at all while this was being done and was very pleased with her professionalism . Happy with the cost as well. Thank you

After a sleepless night with pain and 13week old baby and pain all day. I am very greatful for the emergency appointment. The staff and dentist were welcome and understanding. Dr Nikhat Fatima managed to remove the problem tooth. Thank you Dr Nikhatand your assistents dentist for the pain free extraction. Would recommend your care and services.
