Muirhead Dental Health (Skipton)

I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. The receptionists are really friendly and chatty. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. It goes without saying that April Scholey the dentist is just the best. She is so nice and so good at what she's does I actually look forward to going to the dentist. Imagine that? Please pass on thanks to everyone. ♥️💯🥰🎉

Such an exceptional dental practice! From the receptionist, to the dentist, to the dental nurse. I was experiencing extreme pain whilst on a Christmas break up north with my family. They managed to fit me in for an emergency appointment the same morning that I telephoned, and went above and beyond to do so. The dentist (Mark, I think), immediately noticed that I had an abscess so he offered to treat it for me there and then. After experiencing terrible complications from previous dental infections, I was beyond grateful to have it treated. He was very kind and gentle throughout and stopped whenever I experienced any discomfort. The dental nurse was also so kind and friendly and showed great care when I felt a bit woozy. It was all done for a very reasonable price. Mark even wrote out exactly what I needed to say to my own dentist and provided me with the X-ray to take to them to ensure that I had some follow up treatment when I got home. If only I didn't live more than 5 hours away, I'd definitely register! Thank you so much.

Today I experienced exceptional service and care from Muirhead Dental Practice. I’m not a registered patient, however after suffering from intense toothache for a few days I called this morning to ask for an emergency appointment. The receptionist on the phone was lovely and kind and professional and made me an appointment for a few hours later. When I arrived, the dentist (George) listened to my symptoms and had a look. He advised me on treatment and I was overwhelmed with relief when he told me he’d be able to begin treatment there and then. Another dentist (April) popped in to assist also, and checked for pain in my temples and jaw. The procedure was done with care and attention and I felt well and truly looked after. I was blown away by such thorough, kind and speedy service and can’t describe how grateful I am not to be in pain anymore… Lastly I just received a call from the dental nurse (Jess) to see how I’m feeling 🙂 I’ll definitely be registering after today’s experience, thanks douche to everyone! I cant recommend John and his team highly enough, all aspects of the business are excellent, but the sense of being in some very safe hands is utterly reassuring, especially for someone like myself with a long history of fear of dentistry. Thank you John once again for your patience and kindness and skill.

Would rate it higher if I could. The best dentist I have ever been to. The inside is lovely and welcoming. The dentist himself, John, was so calming and really put me at ease when I had to have an injection. The assistant was lovely as well though I didn't catch her name. The receptionist was also very nice and assured me they never turn a patient away in pain, which was very comforting. Overall, a very positive experience and I couldn't recommend this dentist enough.
