Maria Abril Hurtado @ Church House Dental Practice, Shoreham I have been a patient of Maria’s for several years and this week had an appointment with her. Unfortunately I am undergoing treatment for a lung infection and was unsure if Maria would be able to carry out the treatment, I needn’t have worried, as once I explained what was happening she took over in her usual professional manner, ensuring every few minutes that I was relaxed and comfortable while she carried out the pain free procedure. I cannot praise Maria or her nurses highly enough for the excellent dental care that she provides in a spotlessly clean and calm environment. Kamilla in reception is very friendly and efficient, always willing to help with a ready smile. Visiting Maria’s practice is stress free and the care second to none. Thank you Maria.

We were visiting the area on holiday when I needed urgent dental treatment, and I am so grateful that we found María. She carried out a thorough assessment, including several X-rays, and quickly identified the problem. Most importantly, the treatment relieved my pain immediately, which was such a huge relief! María and her nurse (sorry I forgot her name!) were both friendly and reassuring throughout the appointment Even though we don't live locally and only visited because we were on holiday, I would highly recommend María to anyone looking for a dentist.

I had an emergency nhs appointment here today that could not of gone worse The first thing i told the dentist was that im extremely nervous to be there . She did not listen to anything i was saying about my teeth. I had a large sore in my mouth that was given me alot of pain and every time she looked in my mouth she wasn't careful and would catch it and then say if you open your mouth we wouldn't have to push so much , well im sorry but if u weren't hurting me i would open my mouth ! She also gave me an xray and i was told to bite down i was biting down so hard that it was cutting into my mouth and making me gag she then put a salt substance in my mouth with out warning it without telling me what it was . I wasn't even offered anywhere to spit it out . And the sink had a do not use on it She gave me 2 temp fillings as i was only an emergancy nhs patient and was told to find a dentist however one of the fillings has been left so high that i cant even chew properly Do not recommend this practice at all no sympathy from this dentist as a nurse i know how to treat a patient at this was not it

Went in as an emergency patient and the service I received was absolutely amazing. I’m a highly anxious patient when it comes to dentist but they were so supportive and reassuring the entirely time I was there. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and made me feel at ease the entire time. I would 100% recommend this practice to anyone.

I've always dreaded going to the dentist, but at Church House I have felt welcomed and reassured. Everybody there is so lovely, helpful and caring. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I transferred to this dental practice after moving to Shoreham-By-Sea. It provides a first class service from the helpful and friendly receptionist to the professional highly skilled dental staff. There is a monthly plan that covers 2 dental check ups and up to 4 hygienist appointments a year. The facilities are extremely modern and clean.

Maria came to my rescue again and sorted a tooth problem brilliantly as usual. She is such a caring and thorough dentist and the result is perfect as always thanks. Also thanks to Camilla, the office manager who runs the reception there and cheerfully keeps me organised and my appointments neatly arranged. Great teamwork and a great Dental Practice, which I can highly recommend.
