Bhandal Dental Practice (Blackheath Surgery)

Dr Helen took excellent care of me. Had a upper wisdom tooth removed and a full teeth clean. In my case the wisdom tooth was removed with zero pain in 10 seconds. The clean was also painless. They treated me kindly and gently. The best experience ive had so far from any dentist, well done Dr Helen and her assistant, they were great 👍

I had appointment today with Dr Salma and not happy with her service at all. Dr need more communication and explain proceture before she start specialy with children and she had 0% communication with my children before she gave them any treatment which mame me so much upset and my son sray confused and not happy and i had general check up with teth cleaning and she use sharp tool in my gum more then she should use and i get screamed and keep having pain in my specific gum where she use sharp tool since then. Plz well trained your staff before they give treatment to patient . Thanks

I don't recommend this dental practice at all. I don't usually attend this practice, but I won't come back after the receptionist's treatment towards me. I went to the practice with my daughter, who needed her braces repaired but our usual orthodontist wasn't in our practice. I was directed to this dentist to get the braces fixed and the receptionist was very rude and unhelpful. Instead of explaining calmly like a human being, she yelled and kept on cutting me off to explain her point that she had repeated over 10 times already. I felt discriminated by her actions and wouldn't like to encounter her ever again. I also called the practice earlier, but she decided to hang up on me for no reason. I have seen many bad reviews on the receptionists, so I strongly believe they should be fired, just like others have mentioned.

I had contemplated composition bonding on my front teeth and came across Bhandal dental surgery. I booked a consultation and the dentist was Simran. She made me feel really relaxed as no-one likes dentists , but I felt confident in what she told me. I then went to my appointment to have the work done, she explained everything and the dental nurse , Nabila, kept asking me if I was ok. I had the composition work done and it was exactly what I wanted, I was over the moon! I highly recommend this practice 👌

Dr Pavan and Lerenza were extremely professional and made my visit to have an extraction very comfortable and pain free. They were friendly, chatted and explained every aspect of the procedure. Will definitely be going back for my regular checkups.

I am writing to raise a serious complaint regarding the treatment my elderly mother received from Mr. Bandal, the owner of Bandals Dental Practice. The level of care provided during her tooth extraction was extremely concerning and, in our experience, completely unacceptable. During the procedure, Mr. Bandal acted with what appeared to be significant recklessness. He pushed, pulled, and applied force so aggressively that my mother’s entire face was moving from side to side. This caused her great distress and raised clear concerns about the safety and professionalism of the treatment. He administered multiple injections of anaesthesia (approximately 4–5), but began attempting to extract the tooth before the anaesthetic had taken full effect. At no point did he pause to check whether she was in pain, comfortable, or coping with the procedure. His lack of communication, care, and empathy—particularly toward an elderly patient—was extremely alarming. Given the seriousness of these issues, we have reported the incident to the General Dental Council (GDC) for further investigation. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Bandals Dental Practice. The standard of care we witnessed was wholly inadequate, and I urge others to exercise caution.

Absolutely fantastic. To say I was terrified would be an understatement. Had some bad teeth taken out today and afterwards, honestly, I could have cried. All these years suffering with bad teeth and I didn't feel a thing. Dr Pavan & Kerenza were so supportive and caring. They made the whole process so calm and relaxing - to the point I'm actually looking forward to going back in a weeks time to get the rest of the work done. NEVER thought I'd say that. Honestly, I can't praise Bhandal Dental Practice enough. Trust me, if you're like me an terrified of the dentist, don't be. Go to see these guys and everything will be ok.
