Absolutely lovely place, the dentist, assistant and receptionists were fabulous. I'm a very nervous patient, but was put at ease from everyone, would highly recommend
Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with the dentist. He was incompetent, even though I paid for the treatment and dental work. He didn't listen to me and tried to finish quickly, showing no concern for the patient. The chair was uncomfortable and old. I hope this place will change.😡😡😡
Brilliant practice, staff are always polite and friendly and my dentist Leanne is amazing, very thorough and meticulous, she fixed my smile and I have gained a ton of confidence because of the work I have had done. I would recommend the team to anyone especially Leanne.
Absolutely wonderful dentist. My first visit tonight. I'm terrified of the dentist and was close to tears when I went in. The dentist asked what he could do to help me and talked me through every part of the appointment. The best dentist appointment I've ever had, and I've had a lot ! I even managed a scale and polish without gripping on to the chair and flinching. So refreshing for somebody to take the time to listen and genuinely want to help you. No worries about my next appointment in 6 months. Thank you.
I have been a patient at this practice for a few years now and they the best from the dentist to the reception staff.
Treatment was first class, my appointment was on time. The NHS have set prices ridiculously high. I spent 10 minutes getting a filling that cost me £70! Do the math! I wish I was a dentist!
An awful experience. I visited in September, my first visit as a new patient. I wasn’t filled with confidence after booking the appointment really. The receptionist was very abrupt, zero telephone manner, quite rude. It didn’t improve when I arrived. As a receptionist, always look someone in the eye, smile and say please and thank you. I’ve done the job, it should be second nature. Two receptionists were sitting at the desk, one girl was sitting on the floor behind the desk, one was standing by the desk talking about their social lives. Joined by another girl and a man. Discussed the next practice staff meeting, a missing pair of leggings (I imagine that member of staff is made to feel very uncomfortable in that environment ), and numerous other topics. For the record, driving lessons are more important than hair extensions. I waited 20 minutes while 5 people gossiped around the desk and a flock of several nurses/trainees came in and out. No-one apologised for keeping me waiting. No-one apologised when I was eventually seen. 15 minutes in the chair. Agreed that I needed the treatment I’d gone for. Took x rays. All good, bamboozled me with percentages about bone density and science, said I need a course of treatment with the hygiene ‘therapist’ and booked me an appointment for 5 weeks hence as the hygienist was on holiday and was then very busy…1 hygienist and all those staff? The hygienist appointment was to have my teeth cleaned and polished….the treatment I’d originally asked for. The 15 minutes in the chair cost me £94. The hygiene therapist was going to be an additional £250. And they’d see me again after 3m (at an additional cost?) and if - if - things were ok by then they’d let me join the Dental Scheme. When it came to money the receptionist asked me if the dentist had mentioned the fee and when I said no she pointed at the figure on his bit of paper…..that’s it. I came home feeling like I’d achieved precisely nothing and had my pockets picked. Then I rang another local dentist, had a really great clean and polish the following week for £80, with a hygienist and nurse who were brilliant and a receptionist who was friendly and polite. And I’ve already been allowed to join their Dental Plan.
