Under NHS rules you are allowed to chose whether to see a dentist or dental therapist. Be aware this practice does not do this. After an initial dentist visit they book you in with a dental therapist to do your dental work without your consent.

Been coming to this dental practice since I was a child - always have been welcomed with a smile, all staff are friendly and helpful and give very good advice when needed. All nurses and dentists fantastic!

James is a great dentist, very thorough, gentle and friendly. The whole team are great, from yhe dental nurses to the receptionists. We travel over 100 miles each way for our 6 monthly check ups and any necessary treatments in between. Highly recommend, if any NHS spacesxare ever available..

I previously used this dentist myself and Mr Blaylock is a lovely guy. I ultimately had to change dentist as I tried to rearrange a general check up and never recieved details of the appointment and was taken off the patient list. When I eventually got through to reception she was very rude and made changing practice an easy choice. Just arrived today for my sisters appointment 2 min late and the same rude receptionist has just aggressively said the next patient has gone in and my sister will need to re book but may not be able too as this appointment has already been altered once. Let's just say the rude receptionist who rolled her eyes and made it clear she couldn't be arsed was told that its fortunate the next patient was here and that the slot is still there and therefore my sister will see the dentist. The actual dentists informed of this too as I made sure I went in with my sister. Just be firm with reception is my advice.

Firstly I would like to say that this rating does not reflect the dental surgeons themselves - Mr Baylock is amazing and his nurses are also very sweet and polite. The reception staff are rude and lack empathy. I rang up to book an appointment, was told I wasn't able to due to Corona. I rang up a few months later due to being in agonizing pain to find out I was removed from the register without being warned. I made a formal complaint over the phone to be laughed at by the receptionist, who then furthered her actions by saying that her manager had no issue with how she acted (they said in their email that their manager wasn't in so one is lying). I then emailed a complaint form to be deflected on every point, and tell me that their receptionist hasn't had a complaint in over 20 years despite the reviews section being filled with complaints about HER, Overall, amazing dentist dragged down by poorly trained and rude staff.
