Belhaven Dental Surgery

Fantastic dentists and friendly staff always put you at ease have been with them for many years . My front bridge came out on friday .called monday morning and got an appointment with Catherine. . She used her expertise to assess the best way forward. Not an easy one but thankfully bridge replaced using posts to secure . Further advice given re future options . Very happy with the work carried out today and also on every other occasion I have attended . Thank you Catherine and staff 😁

I have been attending this practice for the last 10 years. I came to this surgery after a few dental issues I was left with from a previous practice. After attending for the first few months my confidence grew greater in the staff and they ultimately fixed my issues with great sensitivity and ease. I feel that this practice has the most welcoming and friendly staff who take time to reassure you when needed. I felt so confident in the practice that naturally my two young children and partner have also joined. The prices are very reasonable and there is a very wide range of services available. I have had great service from the staff at Belhaven during this extremely difficult time. The surgery has sent out clear information in the form or emails and texts which has been very helpful. As I have been having ongoing treatment I have had to call the surgery, and was given advice and assistance very quickly which enabled me to get a prescription from the pharmacy within minutes. This surgery gives a very personal and individual service and is genuinely concerned about the dental health of their patients. They are a great team who make you feel comfortable and they go above and beyond to help everyone coming through their doors. Thank you.

I'm a super nervous patient and the dentist fills me with huge anxiety but attending Bellhaven its like they understand. My Dentist Shauna and Nurse Ellis were just wonderful, making it funny and not stressful at all. When the painful bits happened Ellis had a playlist on and for some reason it was my top bands best tunes! ❤ So they turned it up for me. Much better experience that thought. Thank you girls xx

Worst dentist. Made an appointment for my son, waiting a month for the day to come, the day before the appointment I got a phone call asking to reschedule from 4pm to 3pm I said yes so picked him up at school early. On the day of the appointment it was cancelled completely by text message after I’d already picked him up early from school. I made an appointment for myself for a check up to make a dental plan and attended that it was fine so made an appointment to start getting treatments done in the practice. I got a phone call that day saying it had to be changed for whatever reason and was in a months time again. And then another phone call today to say (week before appointment) saying that my appointment wasn’t made with a dentist and it was an error and has to be changed again? Took myself off there systems what a disaster this practice is … don’t recommend if you actually want to see a dentist

Catherine is my dentist and she is wonderful. Great for nervous patients. I had a bad experience before going to her and was a nervous wreck. She explains things very clearly to you which makes you feel more confident. Have seen Lyall and he is my daughters dentist, they both think he’s great. Great with kids and always cheery. I have had treatment from Ryan as well. He is great. Fantastic dentist. The receptionists are all so nice and helpful. Katrina is brilliant. I am not great with the hygienist she took the time to build my confidence (as it used to always be Catherine who did my scale.) Expensive because no longer NHS if you pay for your treatment, my previous dentist before went private ( some years ago) and they were even more expensive and Catherine had to replace their work. There are plans which help spread the cost. At least I know my treatment is going to be done properly so it is worth it. As they say " you get what you pay for ".

Absolutely brilliant practice. Having been a nervous patient for years, the staff here instantly put you at ease. I've had treatment from both Catherine and Lyall and can't praise - and recommend - them, and all of their dental nurses enough. I now have a smile I am proud of thanks to all their work, and genuinely look forward to going back in to Belhaven for my next appointment.
