I would like to start my review by saying I am an extremely bad patient, as I had a butcher for a dentist in my teens. I was met by a wonderful receptionist, and put at ease straight away. My first dentist was Lydia, who was professional and very kind. My front teeth were almost falling out, even though they were caps. I was rebooked for a course of treatment over the following weeks, and this was carried out by Kate. She is a fantastic Dental technician and her chair side manner put me completely at ease. We discussed what needed to be sorted out, three teeth taken out, impressions taken and a cap to be fitted on a molar. I have a front denture being sorted, and I’m booked in for this. Kate cleaned all my remaining teeth and gums. She is absolutely fantastic, and I’m so glad I made the decision to get myself sorted out. Kate has a few different nurses, Mandy, Di etc, and they are absolutely brilliant. The care I have had during my visits has restored my faith in the whole dental system. For the first time in my life, I actually look forward to an appointment with the wonderful staff. Kate, I can’t thank you enough for all you have done, and I’m so looking forward to getting my new front denture and crown. Not only do I have my smile back on the outside, I’m smiling inside as well. My teeth were really bringing me down, but not any more. THANK YOU!

The administrative process for securing an emergency appointment here is confusing and frustrating, especially for a patient in severe pain. I called exactly at 8:01 AM, understanding that appointments are allocated on a same-day, call-in basis. I remained on hold for approximately 30 minutes before the call was answered. When I finally spoke to a staff member, I explained the urgent need for a patient suffering from severe pain in a lower back tooth, requesting an extraction. I was immediately told that the Centre was "fully booked" for the day. This response is extremely concerning and contradictory to a same-day booking system. If all slots are allocated by calling in that morning, how is the centre already fully booked 30 minutes after opening? This suggests either an insufficient number of emergency slots, or that the process is not truly first-come, first-served by phone. The entire experience resulted in a significant waste of time while trying to secure emergency care for someone in distress, leaving us confused about how to actually access their services. The booking policy needs to be transparent and achievable for patients who are following the instructions to call first thing in the morning. *Improvement is the goal here.*

Absolutely fantastic today. Sarah and Lydia worked together seamlessly even though I would not let Sarah’s hand leave me, I have severe anxiety when it comes to dentistry work but they made me feel a lot better and eventually I agreed to have my tooth removed. Lots of numbing, slight pressure but didn’t even feel the tooth leaving the socket! Was a tooth that really needed to come out. Thank you both of you so much 🙏🏻 ready for a pain free Christmas 🎅

It’s a shame I can’t give zero stars, the dentist doesn’t even deserve one. Imagine being referred here as your own dentist had no emergency appointments available, I have a severely broken tooth I needed removing, got there and the dentist doesn’t even look at me let alone inside my mouth to assess the situation and sends me away with antibiotics and told me as I have my own dentist he should remove it not him. I’m glad I work and pay tax and NI so these people in health care can decide who they want to treat!! Sent two complaint emails and had no response! Shocking.

I have had my tooth extraction done few months ago here . Since then I'm in pain . I went to a different hub to get an xray to see what's going .. turns out the dentist left half of my teeth inside my gum ! Didn't removed it propley . Now it's all heald together so I will have to go for a surgical treatment and it can cost way more than just a normal extraction! .. I have called them about this several times . They don't care and there is no appointment avalable to go back to see the dentist. I have recorded the call . As soon as I start talking about my problem and about what the dentist done wrong. Straight away she said there is no appointments call back next time. 👎..

The staff is lovely and they treat you nice. Look at all these negative reviews. People need to understand that behind that phone there's a human being that cannot perform magic. You need to be respectfull towards others no mather what. MOST OF NHS Dentist went private. So dont be harsh because you cannot book an emergency appointment instantly. ✌️
