Customer Reviews
Oxford Orthodontics Practice has a rating of 4.6 out of 5 based on over 156 reviews on Google
Had an orthodontic appointment in March where my child was advised to have a tooth extraction. Since then, I’ve called twice over several weeks chasing the referral letter to our dentist, but it still hasn’t been sent and it’s now nearly June. Very disappointing communication and ongoing delays, especially for an NHS patient. Hoping this can be resolved more efficiently in future.
Staff are absolutely lovely. Went in today to get braces and I was so nervous but they kept checking if I was okay and after I got them on, the receptionist gave me some great tips and told me exactly what it is like
Thanks so much Azan and everyone for my treatment! you were all so efficient and kind, always checking in on me to see if I was alright. I really appreciate everything Oxford orthodontics has done for me.
My daughter’s dentist named Shane is very thorough and brilliant and the whole staff are fantastic - Thank You Guys. On a personal note I would highly recommend using this practice if you are not already a patient. Mr. M I A
This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with an orthodontics practice. The manager is extremely unprofessional and clearly does not know how to run a clinic. She repeatedly gave us false appointment times, leaving my daughter waiting months without being seen. Every time we tried to get clarity, we were met with rudeness and excuses instead of solutions. It’s unacceptable for a healthcare provider to treat patients this way, especially children who rely on timely care. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Avoid at all costs.
Extremely disappointed with the service at Oxford Orthodontics Practice. My daughter’s appointment has been cancelled three times in a row, each time at short notice with the excuse that the doctor "needed to leave early." This is highly irresponsible — my daughter had a tooth removed over two months ago in preparation for braces, yet her treatment has been repeatedly delayed through no fault of her own. We have had to arrange time off work in order to attend these appointments, only to be informed on the day that they had been cancelled. This is not just inconvenient but shows a lack of respect for patients’ time and commitment. Families plan their time and trust medical professionals to provide reliable care. Repeated cancellations without proper arrangements show a lack of professionalism and disregard for patient wellbeing. Very poor experience.
This is an ongoing communication problem with Oxford Orthodontics. Most recently, my child had a 3:15 pm appointment. The day before, I was told it was cancelled and that reception would confirm, but no one called. My child had to leave Matthew Arnold Secondary School two hours early to attend, only to be told on arrival it had been cancelled. This wasted time and disrupted school. A similar issue happened 11 months ago with a report that Oxford Orthodontics claimed had been sent to our NHS dentist — it hadn’t. After multiple calls and chasing, the report was finally sent within five minutes only when we intervened. Repeated failures like this show poor communication, wasted time, and unnecessary stress. Appointments like these affect my child’s education and should not happen. I hope Oxford Orthodontics addresses this serious issue.
