Rutland Dental Care

The team at Rutland Dental Care are fantastic. They always provide excellent advice and care. Dipti especially has a patient, calm and reassuring manner that has helped me cope with treatments even though I am phobic of needles and the dentist’s drill. Highly recommend them to anyone, especially those who might be nervous.

After moving away from Rutland, I've struggled to find a decent dentist. So I returned here after 2 years. It's over an hour and a half, but worth it! I've had terrible past experiences at other dentists, some traumatic, so going to the dentist is not something I like to do...but Dr Dipti Lad is an excellent dentist. Explains everything, shows you your X rays which I've never had! But is also extremely calm, patient & listens to you. I was given excellent advice on how to improve my dental care at home. The reception & waiting room is calming and doesn't feel like you're going to the dentist (very helpful for a nervous patient) All the other staff (reception & dental nurse) are kind & welcoming. Thank you!

10 stars is more accurate! I do not relish a trip to a dentist following shocking work and experience in my youth (understatement!) I know I have to go otherwise it will be worse if regular trips aren’t undertaken to help prevent serious problems. I registered at this dentist and had my first appointment in November 2022 and am on the advised 6 monthly checkups. A filling from 20+ years ago fell out at new year. Off I went for the dreaded replacement. Every single step of my experience, despite the anxiety, was refreshingly easy, painless, and actually, made quite pleasant. The complete opposite of every other trip to a dentist and I’ve tried around 6 different surgeries in different parts of the country. I had to go back two weeks later as I had an issue. It was exactly the same in terms of my great (!) experience and they even did my follow up free of charge due to the circumstances of what was needed. I can’t rate the surgery and all who work there, high enough. I no longer fear a trip to the dentist. Not that I want to be there too often…

I am completely disappointed with the dental services provided. Before New Year, we had two fillings placed on my daughter's molar teeth at this clinic. Unfortunately, the first filling fell out just two weeks after it was done. The clinic agreed to redo it, which I appreciated. However, the second filling also came out a month later. I understand that baby teeth grow quickly, and I made sure my child was as careful as possible following the procedure. However, I cannot understand how such poor-quality materials could have been used that both fillings fell out within weeks. This experience has left me questioning the standards of care and materials used at this clinic. I doubt I will return in the future.

Visited Andrews Dental Care for the first time today. We were pleasantly surprised by the very friendly welcome and the lovely modern layout and furnishings, nearly like entering your own living room. It's a nice relaxing environment and the staff make you feel very comfortable, through their caring attitude. We came to the practice, as our dentist, Myra Ng moved here recently. She will be a great addition to the team and I can highly recommend her, as she has looked after our dental needs for almost nine years.

I have always received excellent service and care from Andrews Dental Care. Dipti is brilliant and I cannot recommend her enough. In addition to my regular checks, I have had a root canal and crown and I have been very pleased during the procedure and result. All members of staff are very welcoming and professional. In a dental emergency I have always been seen quickly. During lockdown I have been attending appointments and have always found that they go above and beyond with precautions so that I feel safe. My young daughter has started to attend with me and she enjoys her trip to the dentist. I have finally found an excellent local dentist for my family who I can fully trust to provide excellent care.

I first visited Rutland Dental Care on the recommendation of my son who is a patient there. My bridge had broken and was repaired by the original dentist but it broke again after a couple of months, leaving me with a visible and embarrassing gap. I was very disappointed that his recommendation was to replace this with a plate so, despite living over an hour away, I arranged an appointment at Rutland Dental Care for alternative advice. Dipti was immediately reassuring and explained all the options including an implant, which I had briefly considered but was very apprehensive about. Her patient and detailed explanation made me feel completely confident and she recommended me to see Savan for more precise guidance, with no pressure whatsoever. Savan instantly put me at ease about the whole procedure and explained every stage, following the appointment with a written quotation for two options. After a number of appointments I finally had my finished implant and have been absolutely delighted with the result. I was amazed that none of the procedures were at all painful, for which I was very grateful. The team at Rutland Dental Care have created a comfortable, elegant and relaxing environment and at every stage I have been immensely impressed with all the staff, from the warm and friendly welcome by Kathryn as you walk through the door, lovely Dipti of course and hygienist Maya, from whom I learned how I should have been cleaning my teeth for many decades! Last but certainly not least, the exceptional Savan, whose expertise I very much appreciate and whose wonderful humour I have missed after completing my implant appointments! Thank you to all the team, I cannot praise you highly enough.
