I chipped my tooth on my birthday after not going to the dentist in over 20 years, due to severe anxiety/phobia of dentists. Noor has been so great and so patient with me. She’s given me the courage to have other treatments done to help with my dental hygiene. She always makes me feel comfortable and has made it so much easier for me. Chipping my tooth turned out to be a good thing to help me overcome my fear and improve my Dental hygiene. Thanks so much!
I would like to thank this clinic, Mohammed and Kerry in particular. Though I am not a client here (or any other dentist), i had an emergency with severely infected tooth and needed immediate help. While other clinics in the area did not accept me, this one did. I hadn't been to a dentist in ages and never had a tooth pulled, and was somewhat anxious. Mohammed is top guy. Along with his assistant Kerry, they calmed me down, explained the procedure in detail and proceeded to masterfully remove the bad tooth, and did some extra work, without causing any pain. I am really happy and would like to comeback to get further work done on my teeth here, but unfortunately they currently do not accept new NHS patients. Also I would like to thank NHS - moments like these, i'm grateful I don't live in USA
Our family have been patients here for 15 years and we have only ever had positive experiences. If you call, it gets answered promptly, if either party needs to move appointments it’s done without much wait, the reception staff have been there for many years which is a positive sign and are always very helpful, and the patient care we receive is excellent. Sushil is a wonderful dentist- he’s warm, friendly, professional and thorough. He makes you feel relaxed at each visit, which is brilliant for anyone anxious about dental appointments. I would recommend this dental clinic to anyone local.
Literally the worst dentist i have been at. Staff are rude and extremely grumpy. Me and my whole family have gone here and they have not been helpful. I had a cyst and they popped it, sent me home with no antibiotics no pain killers nothing. Half of my face was so swollen. They told me my tooth needs taking out only by surgery at QMC. Went a&e that same night due to pain and swollen face + eye. Then had to come back and finally gave me antibiotics. Have a lot of other examples of bad service but won’t go on. Today i still have my tooth and got a root canal by another dentist.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Had my appointment cancelled again as the dentist is on leave despite my appointment being booked months ago. When I rang to re-arrange the staff member on reception was rude, oppressive and bullying towards me despite me being polite. he spoke over me multiple times and when I asked him to allow me to finish speaking and to refrain from interrupting whilst I explained the fact that I would need to book two appointments one after the other, he threatened to put the phone down as he would not tolerate my language! There was no bad language or verbal aggression - apart from him to me. So, that is not tolerating a patient saying "would you allow me to finish speaking please and not talk over me." What a terrible way to have staff behave towards elderly patients. Bullying by NHS staff! Of course, they all have what they think is the ace up their sleeve by putting the phone down when a patient refuses to be intimidated by them.
Rude, incompetent and uncaring staff, particularly those on reception. Also had a dentist be rude to me here before when I first started coming here. I was 4 minutes late for an appointment and then kept waiting another 6 minutes by some ridiculous man umming and arring about his daughters dentist appointment, then they tried claiming "I showed up 15 minutes late". This was after I had battled 25 minutes through atrocious traffic in atrocious weather. Disgusted to say the least. Don't come here if you want to be treated with any kind of respect or sympathy.
Brilliant local dentist. I've been with Sushil Chauhan and the team for a number of years and they've always been welcoming and reassuring.
