Highbury Dental Care

I just wanted to say how amazing Dr Kishna and Amy were today. Dr Kishna did a really good job on my teeth and was incredibly considerate of my sensitivity. He took his time, was very careful throughout, and regularly checked in to make sure I was okay. Amy was excellent too and made me feel comfortable and at ease. They were both professional, kind, and reassuring, and I really appreciated the care they took. Thank you both for such a positive experience.

I was scared of dentists all my life, but D. Akram completely changed that for me. He made me feel comfortable from the moment I walked in, explained everything clearly, and did an amazing job fixing my teeth. I also brought my child to see him, and he was so kind and patient with him too. Such a caring and professional dentist. I highly recommend D Akram to everyone! The receptionist was so professional too.

I had a really positive experience at this dental practice. Dr Mehdi was professional and explained everything clearly which made me feel at ease. Nurse Suby was kind and kept making sure I was comfortable throughout. They both took great care of me and I’d highly recommend them

I feel compelled to share our recent experience. My 19-year-old daughter attended Highbury Dental Care in severe pain with visible facial swelling. When booking the appointment, I clearly explained her condition and was told she could be seen as an NHS patient. However, when she arrived, she was told she could not be treated under the NHS and would need to pay privately. As she is a single mother on benefits, she could not afford this at the time and was turned away without treatment, despite being in a serious condition. She later had no choice but to return and pay privately to receive care. In contrast, we attended another dental practice where they would not allow her to leave without receiving appropriate treatment, and showed genuine care and concern for her wellbeing. Based on our experience, the communication and handling of her situation at Highbury Dental Care was extremely disappointing, especially given how unwell she was at the time. To me it seemed like they definitely took advantage of her state and made her feel like she had no choice but to pay. They showed no empathy whatsoever. And the receptionist just came across really rude.

I have only been a patient of Highbury Dental Care since December 2025 but I am very happy I chose this practice. I have had several visits with Dr Caprici and every time she has put me at ease, explained what was going to happen and has been very gentle. Despite numerous extractions I haven't had any pain or discomfort. I am very pleased with the results so far and would very much recommend her as an amazing dentist.

I absolutely would not recommend! I started going a year ago due to chronic tooth pain. I was advised to have root canal I believe it’s been 3 times now they have cancel as there’s only 1 person that can do it. (how ridiculous a practice that size!) After the last cancellation I decided I couldn't wait for root canal, I’m in alot of discomfort so I asked if they can just remove it They booked me in with the person that was going todo the root canal because he’s the only one that can do extractions aswell. I had an appointment today got a call to say they couldn’t remove it after all and they will need to refer me somewhere else! A year of nothing but being messed around and disappointment. So if you’re in a lot of pain and want to be messed about for a year this is the dentist for you, if not then avoid at all cost!! the practice is a joke!!

Good service from Alex, professional service amazing detail to the treatment that was needed. Took good care of me. Strongly recommend Alex. Alisha from the reception was professional and very talkative and explained everything to me properly.
