Princes Crescent Dental Practice

I have just been for my 6 monthly check up and, as always, had a great experience. As a family we have been patients at the practice for years, and did have some concerns when it changed hands a while ago. However, we can't speak highly enough of the new owners and the staff there. I myself have had some complex work done, with a new crown fitted and the outcome has been excellent. My wife and children have also always had great experiences regarding treatment and check ups. All dentists and assistants are friendly, knowledgeable and very thorough. Also, just a special mention for Mai who works on reception. Allthough always very busy, she is so polite, helpful and welcoming. As a family we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the practice.

This was my first time going to the dentist in a very long time, and I’ll definitely be going back. The waiting time was very short, and I was seen by Dr Ahmed, who was friendly and welcoming. He quickly identified the problem and carried out my filling with great care and efficiency. I felt completely at ease throughout my appointment. All of the staff were amazing, and the whole experience was much better than I expected. I’m quite an anxious patient, but I was made to feel comfortable and reassured throughout my appointment.

Been with this practice for over 50 yrs and stayed with them through a few changes of ownership. So pleased that this new practice has maintained its very good service. Dr Ahmed is very professional, highly knowledgeable in his field. He is very gentle and caring in his approach and very thorough in his work. His equipment is ultra hi tech, computerised……and painless! I strongly recommend him and all his staff , but, for the first time in my life I am not scared to go to the dentist. A big thank you.

Do NOT go here, some fillings turned into £1000 of work, whilst getting the fillings done the dental nurse did not know what she was doing and hurt me a couple of times, I even gave Princes Crescent a chance to rectify the work first (different dentist) and yet no change was made as they obviously don't have a clue what they are doing. I was in so much pain I was absolutely distraught. The work done was such poor quality and caused me such pain I couldn't eat properly until I had been to another dentist, when my new dentist inspected the work one filling came away VERY easily, just 'popped' right off, I'm only glad it wasn't something worse to sort out, but still, months of restorative work is NOT ideal. Also, they have absolutely no people skills whatsoever, the guy here is just cold and makes you feel awful if you're a nervous patient. Another reviewer had a very similar experience I see, sorry for them as I know how they feel. Please please think again before going here. I wish I did!

I am absolutely livid with the service I received at this dental practice. I came in for a simple filling, and now, thanks to the incompetence of the dentist, I need a root canal! This is beyond unacceptable. The filling was clearly not done correctly, leading to further complications and unnecessary pain. Not only am I now facing a more expensive and invasive procedure, but I've also had to endure weeks of discomfort because of their mistake. The lack of attention to detail and the poor quality of work are appalling. It's clear that the dentists here are either poorly trained or simply don't care about their patients' well-being. I strongly advise anyone considering this dental practice to look elsewhere. Save yourself the pain, money, and aggravation. This place is a disaster, and they should not be trusted with your dental health. I will be seeking further action to address this negligence.

Lovely friendly service from reception through to examination. My husband & I were invited in to the surgery together, which was a first. The dentist showed concern over the fact my husband requires a walking stick now. His down to earth approach put us at ease. All in all a very positive & reassuring experience.

Sadly my tooth could not be saved, however Dr Ali Ashraf did an absolutely fantastic job extracting it, making sure I was comfortable at every given point and he even got it all in one piece! He explained everything to me so I knew exactly what to expect and how to look after it for best healing. Really pleased, thanks again!
