Excellent service. At the time of writing they do take NHS or private clients. There is a cost difference between the two and you will get newly qualified dentists with NHS and senior staff on private. I'm happy with my examinations.

Extremely nervous about having wisdom tooth extraction Natalia was so understanding and reassuring talked me thro every step a very smooth and painless extraction she even showed me the decayed tooth - yuk! Highly recommended.

Really disappointed with the customer service at Poynton House. When I first registered many years back, Mr Sutherland I think it was, was my dentist and he removed wisdom teeth and did my fillings and I always felt I received a good service. The last few years when I have been for appointments, it all feels like it's a licence to print money. I appreciate the dental service is in a mess and it has been difficult in the pandemic, but the reception staff are frankly rude, make me feel like I am interrupting them when I phone. The last dentist and nurse I saw were also abrupt and rude, very defensive when I asked about charges and added a cleaning fee during lockdown. They always insist I have a check up and X-ray each time I go in 'because I haven't been for a while' and to help assess what treatment I need. The reason I don't go often is (a) I look after my teeth, (b) because you insist on making me have an X-ray every time and (c) because you are rude and I don't feel comfortable coming in.

Dentists are friendly and patient, fees are reasonable, always do their best if you need an emergency appointment. Highly recommend.
