Excellent dental practice with a friendly and professional team. The dentists explained everything clearly and made me feel completely at ease. The clinic is well run and i am really happy with the care I received and would highly recommend this practice.
I am not happy because every time they change the dentist. When I went in, I saw a new dentist and she asked me what my problem was, so I had to explain my dental issues again. She was supposed to read my report and know that I have loose molars and that the previous dentist had already made a treatment plan. Then she started hitting the teeth that are loose, and I felt terrible pain. I became very upset and anxious, and I told her to stop. In the end, she only gave me some medication. When I spoke to the reception, they told me that the previous dentist no longer works with the NHS and now only works privately
I’ve had a few visits to Bupa dental care now for checkups, fillings and hygienist appointments. Andrew and Caroline have been brilliant! Both very experienced in their work and explain everything they’re doing clearly.
Andy has been my dentist for many years now, I visited recently and it was another great experience, his new nurse Maria was really kind and helpful too. Highly recommend
I’ve had such a fantastic experience at this dental practice! From the moment I walked in, the team was warm, welcoming, and incredibly professional. The reception staff are friendly and efficient, and the dental team is knowledgeable, gentle, and genuinely caring. They take the time to explain everything clearly and make sure you feel comfortable throughout your visit. The practice is spotless, modern, and runs like clockwork. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for high-quality dental care with a personal touch. Thank you for making every visit such a positive one!
I had an emergency appointment with Dr. Andy and his assistant Maria, and the experience was excellent. They were professional, kind, and very friendly, which made a stressful situation much easier. The staff was fantastic.
I had a very distressing experience at Bupa Dental Care Manchester st Anne’s Square, and I feel it is important to share the timeline clearly. I originally visited the clinic for a routine check-up and was advised to replace two fillings. At the time I had no pain or issues with these teeth. Trusting the professional advice given, I agreed to proceed and paid approximately £475. Timeline of events: • 26 February 2026 – Two fillings were carried out (left and right teeth). • After the treatment, the right tooth immediately began trapping large amounts of food between the teeth, causing pressure and gum bleeding whenever I tried to clean it. • The left tooth became extremely sensitive. Because of these problems, I had to return to the practice 4 additional times regarding the same tooth. • 11 March (Wednesday, 11:30 AM) – Another repair attempt was made to correct the right filling. • 13 March (lunchtime) – While flossing normally, the filling fell out completely, leaving a large hole in the tooth. • 13 March (3:45 PM) – I returned for an emergency appointment because the filling had fallen out. In total, I have now had 5 visits to the clinic trying to resolve thr problem they have caused. During the emergency visit I was seen by another dentist and was unexpectedly asked to pay again for treatment relating to the same tooth that had been filled only weeks earlier. Since the original procedure, the tooth on the left side has developed severe and constant nerve pain. I am currently travelling for work and the pain has become so intense that it is affecting my ability to eat, speak, and sleep. Before the treatment on 26 February, I had no pain or functional problems with these teeth. Two additional incidents during my visits also concerned me: • When my 8-year-old son Leo attended the clinic, the dentist asked him whether he wanted treatment done rather than clearly advising the parent on what was medically necessary. • On another visit I overheard a conversation between dentists discussing a treatment price where one mentioned a cost of around £150 and then said he would tell the patient £300. I cannot know the full context of that conversation, but hearing it raised concerns for me. This experience has caused significant stress, repeated appointments, and ongoing pain that did not exist before the treatment. It has also affected my ability to work while travelling for business. Given the circumstances and the extent of the problems following the treatment, I am currently pursuing legal advice regarding compensation. I hope the clinic reviews this situation seriously and improves the quality of care and follow-up for future patients.
