I’ve been a regular patient at this dental clinic, which is why I was disappointed with how my recent situation was handled. Due to an unforeseen emergency, I needed to cancel and reschedule my appointment, but I was not given much understanding or flexibility and ended up losing my deposit. The staff advised me that someone would contact me regarding rescheduling or the next steps, but I never received a follow-up call, even after several days. I understand policies are in place, but for a genuine one-off emergency, I expected a little more understanding and communication from a clinic. So I have decided to look for a different dental clinic going forward.

It was a horrible experience. It started off nicely — they explained the entire procedure, step by step. At the beginning, they took an X‑ray of my teeth and told me everything looked fine. They said I could proceed with the treatment. I had two painfully expensive and time consuming treatments after this. Then, later on, months down the line, they suddenly claimed they couldn’t continue because a new X‑ray had ‘caught something’ and now I need to pay more for ANOTHER procedure. How is that possible when I’ve had what they’ve apparently ‘caught’ for years? That leaves only two explanations: a) they saw the problem from the start and chose not to disclose it so they could keep taking money from me, hoping I’d think, ‘I’ve already paid this much and come this far, I might as well continue and pay more’, or b) which is even worse — they were so incompetent that they missed it on all the previous X‑rays. Either way, it was blatant misconduct. And when I asked why this happened, they told me they’d get back to me the next day. It’s been three weeks. They’ve taken all my money, and I have absolutely nothing to show for it.

Not many people like to visit the dentist but Knighton Dental has that relaxed feel about it as soon as one enters the premises, the front desk staff are welcoming with a smile. I’ve had a few dentists there over the years but my current one Jenika is exceptional, very knowledgeable and keeps you feel at ease. Thank you Knighton Dental.

I’ve been genuinely impressed with this practice. Despite being a large operation, their processes are clearly well thought through and consistently delivered. Everything feels organised, calm, and patient-focused from the moment you arrive. Nicole, my dentist, was excellent; professional, thorough, and very reassuring throughout my check-up. The hygienist appointments with Kate and Destiny were equally impressive; both were attentive, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain things properly without rushing. Jade on reception deserves a special mention too; friendly, efficient, and welcoming, which really sets the tone for the visit. Overall, it’s clear that this practice genuinely cares about patients, not just procedures. I’ve been blown away by the level of care and would highly recommend them.

I attended this practice for the first time yesterday, having wanted to chose a dentist who would concentrate on patient care rather than which dental plan I was on. I was met by friendly staff in a cheery atmosphere and found the same throughout my visit from everyone there. Despite it being a nerve racking decision, I am most relieved that I've 'made the leap' to move and chose a dental practice that I'm feeling will now look after me and not my bank balance.

Update – 14/01/2026 I have now been removed from their register without any prior communication or notification. This reflects extremely poor practice, and at no point have they acknowledged or taken responsibility for their mistakes. As a result, I have now escalated this matter. Avoid!! My experience with this practice has been extremely poor. I was given an extraction appointment for 9 January 2026, only to be informed days before that the appointment should never have been booked because there was no valid NHS referral in place. The practice had failed to identify the need for a referral when booking and then cancelled the appointment at short notice once the mistake was discovered. This was not a minor inconvenience. I have been in ongoing pain, believed treatment had been arranged, and then found out that the referral had not even been made. The error has caused unnecessary delay, stress, and disruption to my plans. My referral has now been sent elsewhere, but the delay was entirely avoidable and arose solely from the practice’s administrative failure. Although the mistake has been acknowledged by the Principal Dentists Dr Amit Patel & Dr Himesh Amin, the impact on my care has been significant. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this practice and would strongly advise others to be cautious when relying on them for NHS referrals and appointment booking.
