Carisbrooke Dental Practice

I was referred by my regular dentist as I wanted implants. All the staff I met (aka practice family) at Carisbrooke, Jeremy McCahill my dentist/dental surgeon/specialist, and his wonderful dental nurses were all outstanding. The reception team are lovely, so kind and welcoming. And they remind you by text and phone about your upcoming appointments (so helpful given my MS cog fog). The disability access to the building is great, and there are some ground floor treatment rooms, although I did have to manage some stairs for my CAT scans. There is also some disabled parking on the front of the building which is so helpful. The process has taken about 18 months. Right from the first appointment Jeremy and his dental nurses explained everything really clearly, so I knew exactly what could be done, how, and what options I had. I was given the information that allowed me to be fully consulted in the process of making decisions about my treatment. Jeremy listened to what I wanted, (full set permanent implants in the bottom jaw, and full set clip in/out for the top jaw), and was completely thorough in planning the process. It is not a quick fix process, and takes hard work, and healing time. Visiting for an appointment always felt like seeing friends, and I am thrilled with my new smile. I couldn’t have asked for better care, treatment, and service. Highly, highly recommended.

I was referred to Carisbrooke after treatment at another dental practice had gone terribly wrong. This left me requiring a complex root canal. I had never even had a filling before so I was beyond nervous and apprehensive about my front tooth being saved and having the procedure. As soon as I walked through the doors I was greeted with kindness and compassion. Dr Tousif Nathani and his assistant guided me through the procedure and gave such me comfort and reassurance that I was in the best hands. I really was, as the root canal treatment was a success and my front tooth has been saved . I cannot thank the practice enough, but more importantly thank Dr Tousif for his outstanding work and professionalism.

I was naturally apprehensive about a root canal procedure, especially on a molar, one of the more challenging teeth. However, from the outset, the communication was excellent and I was made to feel relaxed all the way through the procedure. The advanced equipment and Dr Nathani’s specialist skills made the procedure a lot more comfortable than expected. Big thank you to Dr Nathani and his assistant. The super comfy chair and background music also helped! Would certainly recommend.

I have been a client at Carisbrooke for over 70 years and in all that time I cannot fault at any time the professional welcome, care and treatment afforded to me by all the staff involved, from receptionists, dentists, orthodontists and hygienists. . My most recent visit was with Sheikha who is truly an excellent hygienist. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

I have always received a warm welcome from the reception team at Carisbrooke. I have been seeing Sheikha as my hygienist for many years - her attention to detail and her gentle, caring and thorough approach to her work is second to none! Thank you Sheikha for all that you do.

I was referred to Carisbrooke Dental last year for root canal treatment. After two long root canal appointments the usual treatment was not possible, so the team arranged minor surgery to deal with the roots. Dr. Tousif Nathani looked after me throughout and Dr. José Zurdo carried out the surgery. Everything was explained clearly and I felt well supported and looked after at every stage. My final appointment was nearly 3 hours long which I was dreading but it was fine, I couldn't have asked for better care from the team. The after care was also good where I was given detailed advice to ensure good recovery. At my annual review recently a CT scan showed recovery had gone v. well. Because of that experience, when I needed another root canal recently on the opposite side, I wanted to return to Carisbrooke for my treatment. This time the treatment was completed in a single visit with Tousif, and recovery is going well. Thank you to Tousif, Jose and the wider team for their professionalism and care. I’m very grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Carisbrooke Dental to anybody.

Dr Tousif Nathani & Katie are amazing. Honestly, never felt so calm and relaxed at any dental practice before, but these guys make you feel at ease from the first appointment to the last. Highly recommend for any root canal treatment! 🦷
