I could not be happier with Simon and the team. Having moved from West Yorkshire in August last year to go to live in Whitby and having experienced the dentists there, it was an absolute no brainer but to come back to Simon when I needed a wisdom tooth sorting. his patience and professionalism totally reassured me and took away any fear. Everyone that works at this practice makes you feel so relaxed that going to the dentist is always a pleasure. I cannot recommend more fully.

I had very bad fitting nhs dentures...I now have the perfect smile. John and all staff I met made me feel so at ease after a very bad dental treatment from another place. I now smile with confidence and can eat all the things my other dentures didn't allow. So glad I went here john was fantastic and took such good care of me and spoke me through the whole process I wish I'd found this practice years ago. I'm happy happy happy..

As an anxious patient Simon has incredible patience with me and explains the procedures carefully, goes slowly if I need to, frequently asks how I'm doing, and makes me feel comfortable. I have been seeing Simon for years and he has worked hard with me over that time to make a world of difference in my approach to the dentist. I am no longer frightened and I would never go anywhere else. Highly recommend.

Five stars does not seem adequate! I was impressed after my first visit, even more so after my second. I have never had a dentist do a full assessment of my teeth and then have a meeting to discuss the options. John took the time to show me which tooth we were discussing and explain why he was making each recommendation. Last Friday I had my first treatment and was extremely happy. John has a very calm energy which I find reassuring. He is also very gentle. I did not feel the injection at all. He checked throughout the treatment that I was OK which I really appreciated. I had been looking for a good dentist for ages and am really happy to have found one. John is very professional, thorough and delivers a high quality service. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone looking for a new dentist.

After years of avoiding dentists I attempted to get over my fears by registering and booking with Rawdon Dental Practice. John was very understanding and considerate about my fears, explaining exactly what he would be doing, what to expect and frequently checking in to make sure all was good with me while he was working. After a fairly significant amount of restoration/repair work he's done an absolutely amazing job. I've only used John's expertise so I cannot comment on the other Dentists here, however I cannot see that the same high level of professionalism, care and skill would not be applicable for those also. Very happy with the practice and would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a caring dentist that offers different treatments and cares about their patients rather than just wanting to make a quick buck.

I have been anxious about dentist visits, going back to my teens, when I had a bad experience at a different practice before I moved to Rawdon Dental Practice. Dr Penny Allen has great expertise at keeping me calm.She checks with me at regular intervals during treatment, that I am all right and re assures me during treatment, that I am doing well.She always guides me through what she is doing and lets me know when we are close to finishing, which helps to reduce my stress levels and confidence in her. Her manner is very pleasant and calming, and her dental nurse is always on the ball with anything Penny needs! It has taken Penny a long time to get (and keep) my stress levels under control, and I recently sailed through a long appointment (75 minutes plus? with ease!) All the other staff: Dental nurses, hygenists, and other dentists are cheerful and pleasant; and in particular the receptionists are lovely - there is always a nice atmosphere, which contributes to keeping my anxiety down😁. I am happy and relieved to be one of Pennys patients and would never change surgeries!

I had implants done just over a week ago. I was nervous but all the staff at Rawdon Dental Practice and Alex Jones Dentistry were absolutely fantastic. I would like to thank each and every one for making the experience as easy as it could be. I cannot explain how much I love my new teeth but I think the fact that I can’t stop smiling says a lot. I would and will highly recommend Rawdon Dental Practice and Alex Jones Dentistry to anyone. The experience was much easier than I thought it would be and that was simply because of the people involved. I had every query I had answered promptly both before and after the procedure.
