I have been terrified of the dentist since my teens, awful teeth hygiene, plus braces for 6 years as a teenager lefts me traumatised. After many years of increasing pain and adapted eating enough was enough. I spent some time researching dentists in my area that took (very) nervous patients and landed on The Grove. Everything about this place put me at ease, from the friendly receptionist who calmed my nerves when I’m sat waiting, to Zeeshan who talks me through everything, explains what’s happening and checks in regularly throughout any appointment and to all the nurses who have rubbed my arms and given warm smiles. I couldn’t have asked for a better journey. It’s taken 3 years but I am finally at a point where 6 months check ups are my only visit and my mouth is healthy and pain free. I still get nervous but I know it’ll be fine with the hands that look after me. Who knew I’d end up being a flossing after a meal kinda gal? I would and do? Highly recommend this practice if you’re looking for safe and friendly hands. Thank you team!

Day of Visit: I received a very warm welcome, and the appointment started right on time, which I really appreciated. Consultation: Dr. Wilfred Elliot was highly professional, and the consultation was both detailed and thorough. He explained everything in a very simple and easy-to-understand manner. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough. After years of being self-conscious about my smile, I’ve completed a significant journey that this team handled with zero judgment and exemplary care. • Phase 1: Stabilization. This was the essential "groundwork," involving extractions and learning proper hygiene. Though my issues were partially self-inflicted by smoking, the team was incredibly supportive and encouraging throughout. • Phase 2: Restoration. This involved complex implants and crown replacements. A massive highlight was the team performing emergency treatment on a Saturday just so I could smile with confidence at my daughter’s wedding. The clinical quality and attention to detail were world-class. • Phase 3: The Final Steps. I am now moving into the final stage for a further implant. I’ve learned that the gaps between appointments are vital for recovery and minimizing infection risk—prioritizing long-term health over speed. The Team: My deepest thanks to Zeeshan, Sophia (Hygienist), and Viren (Implants) for their expertise. I also owe a debt of gratitude to the reception staff for keeping my spirits up and remaining patient during my more frustrated moments. You truly get what you pay for here: elite care and a team that genuinely cares.

Wonderful! At 48 years old, I've often avoided the dentist because of the antiquated and often bullish approach they've taken in handling my dental needs. I've also been unlucky with smiledirect retainer issues, which caused gum recession. The Grove Practice are not only a modern and well-equipped dentist, but the staff are thoroughly understanding, compassionate and caring in their approach, giving of advice, and undertaking of the dental work I needed.
