Larkhall Dental Institute

After having a stroke and losing my employment, suddenly my 6 monthly check up’s have stopped and my last appointment was cancelled as someone more important merited my spot. Was told they’d get back with new appointment probably 5 months ago, thanks for proving money is king and those in need don’t count.

My first appointment at this practice was an emergency appointment with Dr Murray. I'm a very anxious person and Dr Murray made sure I know what's happening every step of the way and that I was comfortable. Going to the dentist used to be the most stressful thing I had to do and I'd always delay going - not anymore. I actually look forward to my next appointment as I know I'll be completely comfortable and understood. Whole procedure was 100% pain free, didn't even experience any pain after the anesthetic worn off. The girls at the reception are lovely and very helpful. I would truly recommend this practice to anyone.

Though going to the dentist is never high up on my favourite list of things to do, I always feel pleasantly surprised at how nice an experience you get from these wonderful professionals. They are a great bunch who make you feel at ease and put a bit of humanity into the whole experience. I have found my appointments always to be prompt and swift which is perfect for me. The dentist office itself is very clean and comfortable. My lovely dentist is helpful, sweet and treats everyone with manners and respect. I cannot fault them and would highly recommend this great team!

Excellent dentist for me and my baby. Both Callum (adult dentist) and Stewart (baby dentist) are both friendly and helpful. Both are happy to answer your questions and you feel confident you are getting the best treatment. I’m very particular about who I will go to for my teeth but they do an excellent job here. The hygienist is great too and again very friendly (sorry forget her name). Lovely clean practice and it’s not so much of a chore to go there.

EVERYONE at this practice from Reception, Dental Nurse and Dentist has amazing knowledge of each Patient and treats you like you are a unique individual. They ALL have unending Patience with myself as have memory problems at times which makes me feel very comfortable and at ease. They always keep up to date with our Health/Wellbeing and I have never been in any extreme pain after their skilled Dentisry. Their practice Reception is very modern and comfortable in every aspect. I always look forward to going there on my few visits as they always explain to you what we need which puts our minds at ease.

I was most impressed when I went to my first appointment at this Dental Surgery. I was very encouraged at the friendship which I was met with and I would say the experience was better than I had thought it would be. The dentist, Mark, gave me great confidence even more so as I was embarking on Implant Surgery. The staff were very friendly as well. All in all, a great experience.

We’ve been with practise for many years now and happy with service and professionalism from all staff. Recently my 4 year old had to visit practise as she had developed cavities. She was very concerned about this visit and all went very well, and now we brush teeth after meals not before as advised during visit. Now follow up appointment in 6 months won’t be as scary for her and she was proud telling everyone at school 🙂 Thank you so much !
