Clarence House Dental Health Centre

2.1

Clarence House Dental Health Centre in Ilford offers Invisalign treatments alongside a range of general dental services. The practice has undergone changes in management, which some patients have noted altered their approach to NHS and private service clarity. While the clinic maintains a professional environment with modern equipment, discrepancies between advertised services and actual offerings have been highlighted.

The team prioritizes patient communication, with reminders and clear explanations of procedures. However, inconsistencies in pricing transparency and adherence to NHS guidelines have raised concerns. Those seeking a trustworthy, patient-focused experience may wish to verify current policies before visiting.

I had a very disappointing experience at Clarence House Dental Health Centre. They advertise NHS services and even display posters stating that Band 1 treatment includes cleaning. However, after my check-up, I was told they do not provide cleaning under NHS and that it is only available privately for extra payment. This feels very misleading. If a service is advertised as part of NHS treatment, patients should not be told afterwards that they must pay privately to receive it. The information given in the clinic does not match what patients are actually offered.

Please avoid this dentist. The dental centre has changed management and the new management is looking to charge you for everything. I took my 18 year old who is in full time education (which I had told them over the phone) to get a check up and they attempted to charge me for his check up. When I refused and told them that his check up is free on the nhs they back tracked very quickly. I took my 11 year old and they charged me for the fluoride paste. It’s free for children. She applied the paste with her finger which I thought was very unhygienic. I will not be going to this dentist ever again. The previous dentist was very good and professional but this new one is out for your money so beware.

New management of this dentist and it is absolutely appalling. The previous owners were really good and friendly. Now it is so gloomy in there, not much conversation, the dentist did not seem confident in their clean, an extremely painful and rough job. They increase the price without telling customers. I have been coming here for over 10 years and will not be coming back here. A bad experience.

This is unquestionably the best dentist I have ever visited. You are treated with care and respect. You don't feel like a piece of meat with money to extract. Appointments are easy to book, you get good communication from them both by phone call email and text. They are patient with you, calm and environment. I really recommend this dental practice.

I have been a patient for over 20 years and would recommend this practice very highly. The dentist is very professional and is kind and patient, he takes his time to clearly explain all procedures that he is about to undertake, therefore putting everyone at ease. The surgery is spotlessly clean and has all of the latest equipment. Janice (the assistant) is both professional and efficient in all that she does and always has a beautiful smile. If you book an appointment, you will receive a text message reminder the day before to ensure that you will not miss your appointment.

Extremely unprofessional. They should have refered my son to a dental clinic but didn't. The clinic they should have referred my so to confirmed this. But when I call Clarence house dental clinic they claimed that they referred but they are doing it again. Finally, after receiving appointment in the other clinic where my son was referred we found that he didn't send required documents. When I called the Clarence house dental clinic again he claimed that he did send the documents but sending it again. Because of this repeat incidents I firmly believe that the Clarence house dental clinic is extremely unprofessional and they lie to hide their mistakes.

This Clarence House Dental Practice is a wonderful practice. The dentist tells you what he is going to do and is very supportive. The assistant is very helpful and knows most of the answers for your questions. I would definitely recommend this practice.
