Hyde Dental Practice

Such a good dental practice. Having previously worked in a dental practice myself, I can see here how thorough and conscientious they are. Patients definitely receive the highest level of care.

I have been going here since I was a child, to Mr Wallace, then Mr Garvey and now the excellent Mr Morris. I am writing this review as I came in today for some emergency dental work. Mr Morris was superb and extremely efficient with my treatment, I cannot thank him enough as I am now pain free! I would so like to thank the reception staff who were also extremely efficient and polite and managed to get me in the same day. What a service! Thank you all so much!

A First Class Dental Practice I have been a patient at this practice for almost 50 years and during this time I have received first class treatment. The dentist I currently see is friendly, caring and professional. Furthermore, he takes time to explain what work needs doing. He is supported by a courteous, friendly and helpful team who are happy to contact me when my six monthly check-ups are due. For these reasons I would definitely recommend this dental practice.

I became a patient when I moved to the area in 2018. I had one appointment which was fine. I then had my next 3 appointments cancelled by the practice with no follow up appointment ever sent to me. After having my first baby I recently got in touch to see if I could be seen to be told by the rude receptionist "the dentist just said no". Awful service and I've basically been penalised for their poor cancellation service and then any lack of follow up with me. I'm really quite upset at how I've been treated.

Been going here for a few years now, Martin is a great guy and always helps with anything I need and unlike alot of other dentists he scales and polishes included in the NHS price band. Thanks for being Great Martin.

Told by the dentist I had to pay private fees of £300 for 3 fillings, following treatment and payment I would then (and only then) be allowed to be register as an NHS patient (I had been told I was registered as NHS initially). So extortion basically. Have since seen another dentist who has confirmed I don’t actually need any fillings or other treatments at all. So extortion, theft and malpractice all in one go.

I was a patient of Peter Wallis prior to my son being born 38 years ago and followed him to this practice. When he retired I was so worried who or if I'd get such a caring dentist again. I did, Mr Garvey is amazing explains everything and relaxes me instantly. Thank you to all reception staff, nurses and wonderful Mr Garvey. Much appreciated.
