Hull Dental Practice

Attended here today after not being lucky enough to get a NHS dentist. The receptionists were lovely and even gave my little boy this gingerbread man teddy (thankyou so much). Dentist and both assistants (one who was training) were lovely, I felt absolutely no judgement at all, checkup was quick and efficient, so was the X-ray they gave me.and booking in for treatment was easy too! Thankyou so much and merry Xmas to all the staff working here!

Amazing service and dentist. From care compassion to looking after you and your oral health. Mohan is really good with the kids and make the visit much more soothing ☺️

Went for check up. Friendly and thorough and listened to what I had to say! The hygienist applied something to my teeth to help with sensitivity! This is the first time this treatment has been offered….very impressed! Reception staff very friendly.

I have been paying private for years and realised I never got a text about booking my routine checkup. So I rang up and was told there were no appointments because the dentist left and they are waiting for a new one. They said they’d put me on a waiting list which, honestly isn’t good enough. The whole thing is very confusing and not explained well. Why are they still looking for a new dentist when it’s been months? Why am I being put on a waiting list? I’m not an NHS patient. Unless that means they no longer do private bookings. I’ve had to find another dentist but other than that the staff are lovely and it’s very affordable.

This was my first visit here and the dentist herself was great. She listened to me, understood my concerns and acted appropriately. The reason for the two star review is the lack of information regarding accessible treatment rooms and the reception staff, one in particular. I have limited mobility and struggle to with standing and using stairs. My appointment was in an upstairs room which was extremely difficult for you access but Iit was made clear if I couldn't manage I'd have to rebook. The biggest issue was the apparent lack of any customer service training for the receptionists. I arrived and they were both talking to a client who was also a friend to one of them. I use mobility aids and it was quite apparent I was struggling to stand while they continued their conversation. This continued for several minutes. At no point was it even acknowledged I was standing there. The client eventually left and one receptionist then proceeded to explain the whole friendship to her other colleague again, no acknowledgement I was stood there waiting. When she had finished her conversation she turned and looked at me. No 'can I help', 'sorry to keep you waiting ' etc. I find this rudeness intolerable and unacceptable. Both staff require customer service training. If it wasn't for the excellent dental care I eventually received I wouldn't use this company again.

Reviewing on behalf of my grandad, was waiting in a boiling hot waiting room with NO ONE else in there for half an hour, phone was ringing and the girls were just gossiping and not answering, he mentioned the phone and they were extremely rude to him, will NOT be going back
