Damira Hove Dental Practice

Having joined the new Damira Practice in Hove I have been very impressed with the care and professionalism of all the staff. Mr Shahnazi has recommended some required procedures, but has not been pushy which I greatly appreciate. Mili Takvani did a great job as the hygienist, striking the balance between a thorough, if slightly uncomfortable, clean with a very professional and caring approach. I'll happily continue attending this great clinic.

I have only recently become a patient are Damira dental practice. I have found them to be very professional and friendly. They make me feel comfortable about any treatment needed. I have recently had dentures and I am really pleased with them. The fit comfortably and look natural. I really pleased I changed to this dental practice.

Really great service, had to have a veneer replaced on my front top tooth which was one of a pair, the originals being a few years old. The planning and prep appts were well organised and fully explained and the fitting appt, quite a bit longer, was not as bad as I imagined. At all. Looks great, no discomfort and a perfect match. My mouth feels great and I am smiling again :). Would recommend without a doubt.

I had a really great experience at Damira hove Dental practice. I was treated by Dr. Amirali Shahnazi, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. The whole process was completely pain-free, which was something I was quite worried about before starting. Everything was done very smoothly, quickly, and with great care and attention. Dr. Shahnazi was very professional, kind, and reassuring throughout the treatment, which made me feel comfortable and confident at every step. I highly recommend this clinic and especially Dr. Amirali Shahnazi to anyone looking for high-quality dental care.

The staff are always very friendly, the practice is spotlessly clean, and the reception team are excellent. They are helpful, accommodating, and always do their best to assist, so I cannot praise them highly enough. However, I have experienced several appointment cancellations when the dentist has been unavailable or off sick. While the receptionists always try to rearrange appointments as quickly as possible, it has become a fairly regular occurrence to receive a text message on the morning of an appointment advising that it has been cancelled, requiring me to call and book again. I also received an email advising that parking would not be available due to a cricket match. As a result, I cycled all the way from Burgess Hill. When I arrived, there was plenty of parking available and no cricket match taking place. It wasn’t the end of the world—and the exercise did me good—but it was a little frustrating. A bit more coordination regarding parking information would be appreciated. Overall, a friendly and professional practice, but there is room for improvement when it comes to appointment reliability and communication.

Very happy with the work. I had top and bottom cobalt dentures fitted and the difference has been huge. The fit is secure, my bite feels stable and I can finally chew properly again. Everything feels well made and precise, and you can tell real care has gone into getting the bite right. Even how my jaw sits now and how balanced everything feels shows the quality of the work. She’s always caring, makes sure I’m comfortable and happy with everything, and never makes you feel judged which really means a lot. Really pleased with the result.

In over 30 years of visiting dentists, I’ve never experienced the level of care and attentiveness I had with Sara Khan. I have a sweet tooth, so I’m no stranger to dental visits, but this was genuinely different. She explained everything clearly, made me feel fully included in my treatment plan, and never rushed me. For the first time, I actually understood what was happening and why. She also corrected basic oral care habits I’d been doing wrong for years (like daily mouthwash use) in a simple, helpful way that really stuck. I left feeling informed, cared for, and genuinely confident about my dental health.
