Dentalcare Hook

Great experience at Dentalcare Hook today. The gentleman on reception was very busy but so friendly & helpful. My appointment was with Sajeel Ahmed & he was happy to take the time to answer any questions I had. He also gave me lots of useful information for procedures going forward.

Helpful staff on arrival. Lovely waiting area - clean, clutter free, did not feel clinical which helped any worries about my appointment. Kind dental nurse collected me to take me to the treatment room. A warm, caring and professional dentist, Harman, remembers me each visit and leaves me feeling we have a personal connection. Very calm experience in the chair whilst having two fillings today. Thoughtful consideration of any inconvenience (but necessary) of having my mouth open for so long - drool etc building up. No pain felt during the procedure and the next day, as I write, all feeling good. Great advice about how to care and what to do / not do whilst the fillings harden. I couldn't ask for a better experience. I just wish I'd cared for my teeth better in my early twenties...

The only good thing about this practice was the reception staff. I paid a deposit in October 25 for treatment to start in November but issues with computers appointment rearranged to December. Turned up to find they could not access my scan pictures so again appointment rearranged to January 21st. Turned up today to find they had list my concent papers so I decided enough was enough. Spoke to the practice manager who was very helpful and understanding and is issuing my refund today. So thank you to the reception staff for all their help. Unfortunately it has taken me 5 weeks to get my refund and that was after complaining to head office and threatening legal action to recover the money owed to me. Would not recommend this practice

I’m a very nervous person going to the dentist due to a past experience at another Dentist. The Dentists, Hygienists and staff make you feel very welcome here, put you at ease, consider past experiences and couldn’t do more for you on your regular visits. Their patience and understanding is excellent. I would highly recommend this Practice 😊

Nervous Teenager tooth extraction- Esther was fantastic, we had a good long slot and they explained what would happen and checked on the child every step of the way. When child visibly panicked over imminent extraction they stopped and calmed her down before continuing. The whole process was pain-free and calm

I was given an emergency appointment within 24 hours and my tooth was removed the next day. Harman Dhillon is an excellent dentist who completes the work quickly and gently. The receptionists are friendly and approachable.

A genuine & worthy 5-* review for Esther Salimi!! I joined Dentalcare, Hook as an NHS patient a few years ago & she is single handedly the reason I have stayed. Previous appalling & incorrect actions by the (former) male Practice Mgr .. addressed & solved by fabulous Receptionist, Nikki had made me consider changing practices. Fast forward through to recently where I developed a severe tooth infection. Esther saw me at fairly short notice & initially prescribed one weeks Penicillin. I saw her again today as a follow up (@ no charge.) She took x-rays, showed them to me & clearly explained my options (none of which necessitates further treatment just now.) I find Esther to be very professional, a friendly, caring nature & unbelievably humble. She is the reason I will confidently stay at the practice & I give an enormous shout out to her both personally & professionally .. simply cannot recommend her enough!! An absolute star!! 🌟Thank you!!🤗
