St Leonards Dental Practice

I have been a patient of St. Leonards dental practice for many years and have received quite excellent treatment there. Brian McMillan is a brilliant dentist who goes out of his way to provide his patients with a positive experience on every visit. Brian combines a high level of professionalism with a most engaging manner which puts his patients at ease often in stressful situations. The reception team at the practice are friendly and easy to deal with and they do their very best to arrange suitable appointments for me with Brian often at short notice if I have an urgent dental issue. Friendly staff and the waiting environment is relaxing. The Dentists are great. Waiting times for non emergency appointment are not great. I had an emergency however and i was treated promptly only to find that as have been referred now to dental hospital it could take months. So I have unfinished treatment which is a bit disappointing. Other than that all is good

Been coming here for years and Brian is an excellent guy and Dentist, however this has been the first time I’ve been asked to come in for a check up since Covid, I had to wait 2 months for the appointment. When expecting my teeth I was told they could do with a clean, and advised I should book an appointment with the hygienist costing £57 , when I questioned the price all of a sudden it could be done on the NHS for a small cost. Why is this not being offered before ,it feels to me there trying to fleece their patients.one last gripe Neither of my two kids have had a check up since Covid and when trying to get an appointment I was told there dentist had left, so they could tell me when they would be seen.pretty poor all round from this practice

Mr McMillan and staff are always very accommodating and try their best to give you an appointment. I have been with the practice over ten years. I have always been listened to, felt valued and respected by all staff. Mr McMillan has a kind, caring, nurturing manner, nothing is too much. He has assisted me recently with a problem with a difficult extraction. Which is starting to heal. So thanks again for all your kindness.

Been with St. Leonards dental practice for many years. When I'm advised, as part of my dental treatment to have a clean and polish, there is no one better than the hygienist Yvonne Duffy. She is outstanding with a very professional manner and offers fantastic and worthwhile advice where your dental hygiene is concerned. Wouldn't want anyone else. She's a very special and a lovely lady.

I am a nervous patient and the dentist who I have seen for several years has left the practice. I was apprehensive about seeing someone else, but I needn't have worried as M. Zahoor was very understanding and put my mind at ease. The reception staff as always were kind and friendly and knowledgeable.

I have been with this practice many years with my Wife and Daughter also patients. Totally professional, Totally capable Team from the Receptionist’s to the Dentist's . I normally see Brian however today I had an emergency and managed to see Hussain . X ray , consult and decided on extraction . First Class treatment again .Thanks .I can highly recommend this Practice.
