Gainsborough Dental Care

I had fillings done and deep cleaning by them and the practitioner was extremely unprofessional, she drilled my tooth without numbing my mouth or even offering that option as an extra fee even when I expressed a few times it was hurting , she completely rushed the treatment process, it caused me a great deal of anxiety and really affected my mental health and made me too worried to get treated by them again. They have left me with holes in my teeth and ever since I recieved treatment my teeth have started cracking , raising from the gums. And when I expressed to them the reason I was too worried to go to appointments they told me they would no longer treat me. My teeth are far worse after receiving treatment from them. Even when I had been checked the first time I had to ask the practitioner if I had GUM disease because she didn’t mention it , she acknowledged that I do have gum disease and then completely disregarded it and never mentioned or offered treatment solution for it . I would 100% not recommend this dentist for adults and definitely not recommend it for children as your child will likely grow up fearful of dentists if treated here

Was seen on fri and prescribed antibiotics biotics. Great, unfortunately I lost these that night. I rang the practice on sat morning requesting a repeat of the medication. I was informed I would have to pay to see another dentist and non were available till Monday. This was due to their protocol! Money making more likely. I now have to suffer an abscess all weekend. What happened to the hypocratic oath of medical personnel?

Extremely disappointed with this practice. My five year old’s appointment has now been rearranged twice, including today with just six hours’ notice. I had already booked time off work and arranged for him to miss school, all of which was completely wasted. When I called to ask what was going on, the receptionist told me the dentist wouldn’t be in until Friday and that there was no manager available, also until Friday. It is now 9am Tuesday morning! She told me "it’s just me" and offered no help, no solutions, and no acknowledgement of the inconvenience this last-minute cancellation caused. This level of organisation and customer service is unacceptable, especially when dealing with children’s appointments. No consideration has been given at all. Would not recommend this practice at all.

Excellent experience I'm very anxious very stressed when going to the dentisit. The hygienist nurses helped me feel at ease. I couldn't be more thankful and appreciate there work and efforts in making me feel comfortable and ease. And what a great job they have done. Thank you very much.

Absolutely disgusted by the total lack of customer care and compassion from this dental practice. My wife who is disabled and had serious health issues was rushed into hospital and nearly died last year. When the dentist telephoned about her missed appointment, I explained the reason and also that she would be unable to attend in the near future because of her health. Now that she is able to see the dentist, she has been taken off the NHS list and has to pay for treatment. Even though I explained her previous situation I was told that it was practice policy to remove patients who miss 2 appointments. This is a typical money over care practice.

I can’t thank Kate enough for all her help! She went above and beyond to make sure my sister was fully taken care of during a time of real desperation, when she was hitting brick walls at every turn trying to find an emergency dentist. Kate is such a lovely, caring person and a true credit to your dental practice. It’s so rare to find someone who shows such genuine care and pride in their work, she’s an incredible asset to your team! I highly recommend this practice thanks to her outstanding service. Great service today from all the staff at Gainsbrough dental care, but especially Nic The manager, and imran the dentist . They are always accommodating, very professional and friendly. Nothing is every to much trouble . Been using this practice now for over 15 years now, and will continue to do so .
